Yeah the only two I could think of at the moment are gears of war and halo, and they don't interest me, ps3 has uncharted and god of war and mgs4, so ill take those over anything on 360 any day

Holy, I hope you're joking... wii? Seriously?

You're fucking right I'm serious.

These are some of the games that I love for the system, the kind of stuff that's actually fun—and not all about running down ugly monochromatic corridors accompanied by piss-poor, repeated, backward-thinking gameplay:

No More Heroes
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle
Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2
Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (better on Wii than PS2 'cos of motion controls and slightly better graphics and effects)
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (though I prefer this on GameCube despite its lack of 16:9)
Mario Kart Wii
Wario Land: Shake It!
New Super Mario Bros. Wii
MadWorld
Muramasa: The Demon Blade
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up
Resident Evil 4 (the best version of the game available)
A Boy and His Blob
Elebits
The House of the Dead 2 & 3 Return
The House of the Dead: Overkill
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles
WarioWare: Smooth Moves
Rayman: Raving Rabbids
Excite Truck
Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil (better than the GameCube one since this one's progressive scan)
Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil Zero (same as above; progressive scan makes a huge difference, especially on an HDTV)
Boom Blox

And I still have to get Sin & Punishment: Star Successor. Then there's some other games I own but haven't gotten around to playing yet that I'm sure kick ass, such as de Blob, Let's Tap, Dewy's Adventure, Nights: Journey of Dreams, Little King's Story, and Metroid Prime Trilogy (though I hear the first two games are missing some effects present in the GameCube versions, which sucks, but adds widescreen support and supposedly some new textures and effects).

There's also some great-looking games coming out:

Metroid: Other M
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
Kirby's Epic Yarn
Donkey Kong Country Returns
GoldenEye 007 (on the N64, one of the last great first-person shooters, in my opinion—I can't stand the FPS genre now besides something rare and unique like BioShock; the whole genre has plateaued)

There's also some really great WiiWare games:

Castlevania: The Adventure ReBirth
Contra ReBirth
Zombie Panic in Wonderland
Mega Man 9 (according to critics it's best on Wii)
Mega Man 10 (not sure if this one is, though)
Muscle March
—and probably others I'm forgetting

Add all that to the great backlog of amazing old school games, including previously-unreleased-in-North-America games like Sin and Punishment (now, like all the other Virtual Console N64 games, in full 480p resolution, so it looks and operates way better than on its native console, barring lack of ideal N64 controller; Nintendo oughta release an N64 Classic Controller) and DoReMi Fantasy, and you've got one kick-ass little console.

So yeah, I'm serious. For my tastes, Wii wins this console generation hands-down. Couple that with the amazing library the DS has, and the ever-rockin' DSi XL, and I'm one happy Nintendo fan.

The games I've enjoyed on the PS3 and 360 are few, and most of the ones I do like are PSN and XBLA games (mostly ports). Though the 360 has Deadly Premonition, one of my favorite games in recent memory, and I thoroughly enjoyed Silent Hill: Homecoming and Heavy Rain on the PS3 (and am looking forward to playing Siren: Blood Curse). Currently playing 3D Dot Game Heroes, which also rules.

I have to agree, the wii is awesome, has a lot of great games and gets shit on all the time, and I don't understand why. For a long time I was playing the wii more than my ps3. It's a great piece of hardware, it would be nice if it got more credit

No joke.  I am thoroughly baffled over how Sony got the PS3 to actually sell.  I am honestly half-convinced that they've secretly discovered magic exists and they figured out how to squeeze blood out of a turnip.  I'm not quite ready to give up my faith in humanity and say people are just that stupid.

I bought my PS3 solely as a Blu-ray player, and a lot of people I know did the same as well. Could be why it's sold quite a lot of units; it's still one of the best BD players on the market for its price, in that the load times are quick and it upscales DVDs to 1080p better than any other BD player or DVD upconverter in its price range. Gaming on it is just something I do whenever something cool comes along—and boy am I looking forward to The Last Guardian.

Oh yeah, and there's also Metal Gear Solid 4. That probably sold a lot of consoles—and supposedly the MGS4 PS3 bundle had the EmotionEngine. Wish I had friggin' known that when it came out; I would have bought it for sure.

Whenever a game comes out on both 360 and PS3, I read up on any graphical or performance capabilities one might have over the other. I chose Resident Evil 5 for the 360 because, well, I can't remember anymore, lol, but I think it had something to do with faster rendering, although if I recall, the PS3 slightly edged it out in graphical detail up close. But I'll take smoother gameplay over that.

But, I usually go for the PS3 version of a game. It's a sturdier console, built much better to be sure. I was kinda worried though when I bought BioShock 2 for the PS3, thinking I may not like playing with the PS3 controller, but it came perfectly natural to me; didn't feel any worse than using the 360's.

I would love to try my Wii on a projector, but my room isn't big enough. It's just physics.

I still haven't beat Muramasa. That game is beautiful.

I had a falling out with Mario after 64, so the mario games.
I can't say Muramasa was bad, but I really didn't enjoy it much at all. It was interesting though, but I couldn't get into it.
I never played no more heroes.
Brawl is boring imo, but I just hate that style, i guess.

Zelda was fun... for a while, near the end it just seemed to drag.

Rayman just sucks... period. Never played taht specific one, and I do admit that the trailers kind of interested me but mini games is just meh.

It's just a difference of likes and interests then, ha. The Wii's library practically caters to my tastes.

I don't know whether you'd enjoy them, but the No More Heroes games are two of the best I've played. Ever. If you go into them with the wrong mindset, you may find that the repetitive, rather simplistic gameplay gets old fast, but it's more so about the experience than anything. Same goes for killer7, directed by the same guy, and also one of my absolute favorite games.

I've been enjoying the hell of out of my Wii and play it at least seven times more than my ps3.
Pretty much, all of the games that Abnormal Freak has described (I also love World of Goo, haha).

On top of that, now that my Wii emulators can play Playstation and N64 at nearly-full speed, I can play Castlevania Chronicles and Symphony of the Night on my Wii.  I can play 'almost' every CV!, hahaha!  Including Haunted Castle on MAME!  Hahaha!

So yeah, it's no joke, the Wii has a nice bunch of games that cater to my interest.  No waggle, either, all cool gaming.

Yeah!  Here is my Wii-Friendly Castlevania Emulation extravaganza:

Super Castlevania IV - via Virtual Console
Castlevania - DraculaX: Rondo of Blood  - via Virtual Console
Castlevania (NES) - via Virtual Console
Castlevania Adventure Rebirth - Via WiiWare

FCE Ultra GX - For Castlevania 1, 2, 3, Akumajo Densetu, and Kid Dracula.
BlueMSX-Wii - For Vampire Killer, Metal Gear 2.
SDL Mame Wii - For Haunted Castle Version K, M
Snes9XGX - For Castlevania: DraculaXX (SNES), also again for SCV4.
VBAGX - For Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow.  ALSO for Castlevania Adventure, Belmonts' Revenge, Legends.
WiiSX - For Castlevania Chronicles, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
Genesis Plus GX - For Castlevania Bloodlines

Technically, Yabuse can play Nocturne in the Moonlight (Saturn) but it's not full-speed yet.  And Wii64 doesn't seem to load Castlevani64 or Legacy of Darkness yet, so I have to wait for an update.  There is a DS emu for the Wii but it's not full-speed yet either.  Otherwise I'd have almost every CV in my Wii.

Also honorable mention to DOSBOX Wii (DOS), GxGeo (Neo Geo), Hugo GX (PC-Engine), NeoPop Wii (Neo Geo Pocket Color), Quasi88 (PC-88 and 98, so I can play the Castlevania clone game "Rusty"), ScummVM (Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion games), SMS Plus (Sega Master System), and Wii2600 (all Atari games).

Also, Sin & Punishment: Star Successor is a fantastic game.

EDIT:
I finished Castlevania Chronicles' Original Mode on the Wii, wh00t!  Definitely playable:

FCE Ultra GX - For Castlevania 1, 2, 3, Akumajo Densetu, and Kid Dracula.

I like how this emulator has a palette now that kind of resembles the actual NES colors.

How are the MAME and N64 emulators? They were pretty crappy years ago, so never looked back into them. Heard MAME took forever to load a game. Is this still the case?

Also, DOSBOX? On Wii? I'll have to look into this.
