It was a complete shocker and disapointment to learn that the game has neither of these modes. Instead we're given a bandana and an eye-patch? (fail) Ok, there's Paladin mode, but seriously, I'm halfway to having that completed with all items...So where's the replay value in this game that will keep me wanting to play it beyond 2 weeks?

Combat Arena, for one, is a mode that offers a lot of replay value in my book. I was very addicted to Devil May Cry 4's "Bloody Palace" which even has leaderboards. Bloody Palace mode is what's kept the DMC4 disc in my Xbox even several years after the game came out! I really hope this mode is planned for our future updates.

Boss Rush. It has be added! The boss fights were too epic in this game!

Unlockable Character. Zobek seems like the obvious choice here. I was almost certain the game would have him as playable the moment it was beaten. How will Zobek reach those places that Gabe could only get to via his whip? *spoiler warning* Zobek can float, as shown in the post-credit ending. It would be nice if you could use XP gained with Zobek to purchase combo upgrades for his sword. But I would be happy merely having the entire combo set from the start if development time/resources were short. Unlockable charcters are usually never that "deep", but they are nice to have in a game for something different to focus on and play for a while.

Please consider adding these modes in the future as doing so would  surely add endless hours of replay value to an already great game.

Fail reply. It's already been confirmed that more story is on the way...

Bring on the bonus modes. Let's have both.

A "Separate Ways" type mode for Zobek would be nifty, seeing where he goes when he's not watching Gabriel and whatnot.

Well In regards to DLC, I think a A playable Zobek mode might be interesting enough.

I mean during the parts in which he assists you it is very apparent he has all of the necessary animations for combat or whatnot.

I mean based on the opening dialog for each level, Zobek is the narrator for the story who is following Gabriel and watching him on his quest.

What I would like is to play the game through Zobek's perspective and go through the events in his eyes. Could even possibly expand the game in such a way that it offers entirely new ways to explore some stages due to the fact that Zobek does not have the Combat Cross he naturally won't be able to use the chain climbing or swinging segments. Unless of course they rig him the animation to do so and just say he's carrying a VERY durable rope or something.

Or the DLC idea itself adds new "Zobek" exclusive sections expanding on the paths that already exist in game (such as that supposed "shortcut" that Zobek used to get to the Abbot before Gabriel did)

This mode doesn't even need to have a story focus. It can be the equivalent of Lords of Shadows "Richter Mode" from Symphony of the Night or even "Trevor Mode" from Curse of Darkness.

Zobek mode would expand the games replay value by including an entirely different playable character with his own paths that diverge completely from Gabriel's but with the same destination in mind.

However to be realistic this seems entirely unfeasible and sounds more like an expansion pack / costly DLC add-on then anything else.

I want actual substantial content that expands on the game and no superficial nonsense such as costumes or character skins.

If I am going to have to shelve out money for DLC, then the content itself damn well be worth the price I pay for it. I care little for novelties that are slight distractions that do nothing to add actual depth to the game.

I like the Zobek mode idea but only if it's story driven, if it's not then don't make MS's waste energies making pointless and absolutely innecessary features so we could have the sequel soon.

Now, if you want to wait 3-4 years and possibly a generational change before knowing how the story will unfold so it's ok I guess...

I would've like to see his encounter with the "young" Baba Yaga after she teleported Gabriel out of her hut.
