Now before i start, I have every vocal point in the game on my computer, both in japanese and english including some interesting left out segments of the game, would anyone be interested in these files? I would have them all converted to 128kbs mp3 format for anyone who'd like them

Sounds interest. Would it be possible for you to leave them at the quality level they originally came in? I'd prefer wav over MP3 for voice samples anyway, it just seems more natural, and more usable in fan media sense.

wav is the format i have to dump them at anyways, since they are brtsm (nintendo's sound format) wav it will be at the best quality, i'll convert both english and japanese as a side note in english dracula does say "Ralph Belmont!" in one of the oddities, its Patrick seitz voicing it, and i know Ralph is Trevor but its just interesting to have the english version addressing the character in the japanese text, also there is a few more easter eggs that didnt make it to the final cut of the game it seems

This is a big file: and words that end with e.bstrm is english,
http://www.filefront.com/17499558/CVJ_sound_set.rar

if this is too big i can submit each file seperately, this might be useful for anyone in the fangame community

full rips are up, if the 511mb file is to much i'll upload each character individually for everyone's convience, this has also lead to me to notice, the Dracula X chronicles dance of illusions was a place holder song for the testing phase of the game, it is used for every character in one instance, which suggested the keep was the original first stage made, next will be models and textures, i hope to find a similar way of modding judgment like smash brothers brawl, eg Death note design in slot 1, and Original game costume in slot 2 kind of deal, its not a far fetched idea

One file works fine for me. Many thanks.

Normal designs for Judgment sounds interesting. Would you be doing the modeling yourself, or...?

I know that for Brawl they've got a lot of talented retexturing/remodeling artists.  I would imagine that we would have to tap into that with Castlevania fans or fans that know the modeling techniques,  in order to modify Judgment.

I know the models can be opened in 3DStudio Max, I think... the stage ones, anyway.  That's how they got the Clock Tower, the Dimensional Rift, and the Ghost Ship, into Brawl.  I think the model type is interchangeable and a Nintendo standard.  Hell, they put Monster Hunter stages in Brawl so it's probably a Wii standard.

I already know how to swap the models out, using the riivolution, im going to attempt this using the curse of darkness dracula to replace the current as a test, the best sound file i found in that pack was were
dracula quotes the original SOTN version of himself "you miserable little pile of..."

also i know a guy on the brawl modding side that is doing alot of the castlevania stuff i might be able to put in a request on it, now the question is, Would anyone wanna pick judgment up and play if it had all the traditional characters placed in it with their original designs?

YES!  YES I WOULD!
But also it would be cool to rebalance the game, as they did with Brawl+ (and its other versions).

there should be some people out there that know the damage modifier codes, and if you go threw all the sound files, it seems to hint the game was supposed to be alot longer then what we got

I second this, make supers less powerful.

I remember the first time i used demonic megiddo, it did 2/3 the full hp bar, and i was like "holy shit" i could understand if this was from say castle mode drac or cpu on brutal drac, but easy mode drac? thats a little overkill

I give that a third endorsement! The character designs really put a damper on the game for me.
The main heroes and villians are pretty simple when it comes to choosing new models, but what about the more odd ones?
Golem -> Traditional Clay Golem / 'Frankenstein's Monster' style Flesh Golem?
Time Reaper -> Something new that doesn't look like a copy of Death from LoI?

What about the ones with multiple designs?
Simon -> Classic Simon / SCV4 Simon / Ayami-goth Simon?
Trevor -> Classic Trevor / CoD Trevor?
Maria -> RoB Maria / DX Chronicles Maria?
Alucard -> Classic Alucard / SotN Alucard / Genya Arikado style?
"Stuff and things."

in theory i could have the game use 4 different models per character, like smash brothers brawl, if not it would only be a limit of 2 models per character, but still if they did the game right from the start, it would been
Judgment Alucard in slot 1
SOTN alucard in slot 2

Judgment Simon
CV1 Simon (with possibly pallet/texture swaps)

judgement Drac
CoD Drac/sotn drac?

etc you see where im going with the idea how it could been handled originally, and yes rebalacing is a must
Edit: IN theory i can use brawlbox to view any models in the game, for they use the nintendo format, the same as brawl cept different scale
