May I ask for the links? I'm pretty interested in hearing these arrangements. :)

EDIT: Thanks, Kaori! :)

Hey guys, just heard about this. From the sound of the second disc samples, this could be epic. So, uh, anyone wanna PM a link.

I'm actually a bit disappointed by these two CD's. Some arrangements are very good (Beginning, Clockwork, the LoI one, etc.) but some of them are really off (Garibaldi Courtyard, what did they do to you?). The tracklist was interesting, but they could have take some better and more appreciated tunes (Pitch-Black Intrusion, Invitation of a Crazed Moon, A Toccata Into Blood Soaked Darkness, etc. from newer games - disc 2), though the selection is decent (maybe too much "ending" tracks).

In conclusion, interesting but not as good as I would have expected it.

if this is available on iTunes, what do you need to search under to find it?

Same here. Though, the fact that they did CV4's ending track makes the entire album worth it.

It really does feel like an amateur compilation though. Even the samples are pretty cheap sounding.

thanks.  just got the iPhone a couple days ago and just started downloading music on it, but haven't tried the Japan site yet.  just got DXC OST on it, while the other ones available i already have the CDs for.  it'll be good to buy the soundtracks directly instead of mooching off of fan sites or paying the extra $$ for them being import OSTs.

I would prefer to buy them as a digital copy. It's way more convenient, otherwise id have to rip and tag each track. I skip the middle man and go for the fan site download.

Why don't I buy them online then? First of all, I hate Apple. iTunes is a bloated piece of shit program, as is Quicktime. iPods are overpriced, less featured, cheap pieces of shit. Not to mention anything from iTunes is locked down so much you can't even do anything with them. I will never own an iPod, and I will never install iTunes or Quicktime.

Do you guys have the correct tags for each of the tunes?  I'm gonna tag these soon but I need the composer/arranger info, etc.

Not really digging the Vampire Killer remix on the first disc.
The concept of an homage to Thriller is cool and all, but the execution was terrible.
This is compounded by the fact that the music is sounds pretty good without the lyrical gimmick.
I'm on Beginning and so far all the songs except the afore mentioned Vampire Killer are rockin' it.
"Stuff and things."
