Super Castlevania V / Akumajo Dracula 2
a Super IV style Cv2, it could work beautifully if done with the right amount of supervania and metroidvania

This pitch wouldn't be enough to convince Konami..

I thought there was someone on the internet who was doing that exact thing. I saw the remade background graphics and a simon (X68000) re-colored sprite some time ago. I have no idea what's become of it now.

No it wasn't, but that does look very interesting...  :) The should lose the pink hair cause that's not Simon.

Why not? It could be interesting, but I'm not sure Konami would be ready to make something like this.

It could work using a OoE style engine, to where it is divided into areas and new features will encourage the player to return to those areas, If I had a Sound Team and a engine programmer I could have lifted my own project of the ground but nothing at all, I shalt wait until the given day

in THREEEEEEEE DEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

Konami: NOW yer talkin'! Here's a million dollahs!

Joking aside, though, I'd be all over this like flies on garbage. I like the OoE map thing, but it'd be even more awesome if they expanded it into a much larger map with tons of secret areas, ala Super Mario World.

I originally planned a Demo where you get a prologue of Simon's Curse and the Spirit Lady telling him what to do, when you start it starts normal, white crystal and head toward the mansion, but you find out it was a fake after an unsuccessful attempt, then you go the newly added cave to get a Raw white crystal and refine it to a real one, then you explore a greatly expanded mansion with the first boss and the Prossession or Dracula's Rib. but due to no way to make the game it was put into stasis until it can be programed

Please tell me you'll forgo the whole night day thing with the "what a terrible night to have a curse!" and "the morning sun has vanquished the terrible night".

Tell me that dialogue is either skippable or not there. XD
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

Well he could keep the dialogue, but only use it once. The first introduces the night scene, then the second introduces the day scene. After that, the whole day/night cycle just goes back and forth like in CV64, with no dialogue interouptions.
