Personally I think the Japanese one is BY FAR the best.

Japanese sounds cool and all, but I prefer the original. Especially Dracula, he sounds as awesome as Dracula should sounds imo.

I really don't know.  I liked some of the voice acting in the original and some in the PSP remake.  Plus, that Japanese Shaft sounded really demonic.  I mean I thought the Alucard voice in the PSP version fit him, but I preferred the original voices for the other characters.  That being said, I can't vote unless you add the "I don't know. My mind was recently violated by a dark priest" option, which you forgot to put as an option.

The old voices are timeless. Yuri Lowenthal doesn't do it for me as Alucard, his voice is just...annoying.

Dracula's name display is huge. What does it say? Is it just his full name?

Yea, it just says Dracula Vlad Tepes, or Dorakula Vrado Tepesu or something like that...

Technically, isn't the Japanese version the original version? Anyway, definitely choose the North American Playstation version. However, Shaft sounds awesome in the Japanese version.

No... maybe if it got released first in Japan, then yes, but I don't recall that being true. It was released at the same time as far as I know. (Correct me if I'm wrong) And most of us play the US first, so that makes it original for us.

It's a game developed and created in Japan by a Japanese company and a 97% Japanese staff... If was releseased at the same time, why is original for us when was made by them?... We don't even even use the original name of this franchise "????????Akumaj? Dorakyura"

On topic: I'll go with the english voices from the original PSX title, Alucard's voice sounds awesome.

OK, added the last option  ;D

I guess the nostalgia factor doesn't apply to me coz I didn't play the PSX version. I know Robert Belgrade has a cool deep voice and all... but sorry, the voice-acting just sounds so ridiculous and stilted to me.
