Some stay in the top 5, the rest alternate in and out, so my top 5 never stays consistent.

Top 5 is far too short --and favorites change from year to year...  In no particular order --these games that DEFINE me.  BTW it's still quite painful to limit myself to even 10...

As someone already said, this list changes all the time for me. I mean, many of my favourite games right now are only 1-2 years old. And then there're those LEGENDARY games that changed my life;

1. Super Metroid
2. A Link to the Past
3. Super Mario World
4. Super Castlevania 4
5. Phantasy Star 4

6. Shining Force 2
7. Klonoa
8. Tetris
9. Final Fantasy 6
10. Symphony of the Night

Dunno. I adore Kirby too. And Valkyria Chronicles. And Yakuza 1-3. And ICO. And oh-so-many other games.

Those are classics I'll still play and probably always will from time to time.

Uh, favorite games of right now though that I think I might still play in 5 years...

Oblivion
Mass Effect/Mass Effect 2
Dead Space
Gears of War 2

Seems like the Western made games have taken over for me!
