I got to demo the game. I like the sidescrolling missions but, like a real submarine, controls are awkward. There's a dive meter and a forward/backwards. I like shooting down ships with Torpedoes. That one requires depth measuring and if you want it to be a little more realistic, you gotta spin yourself so that the periscope spins with you (you could just a slider but WHAT FUN IS THAT!?).

IMPORTANT NOTE:
The 3DS has a higher resolution than the DS/DSi. Because of this, there are two options when you play DS games:
1. Do nothing. Pick the game.
The game's default resolution will get stretched to fit the two new screens, vertically. That means the touch screen at the bottom and the top screen are large, but there is a small 'blur' factor because the DS resolution is being enlarged and smoothed out. You may notice some slight washout of colors, but the games are on the two screens at a large size.
2. Hold the START+SELECT button, and pick the game to play on the menu.
This plays the game at "Original DS Resolution". You will get accurate pixel-perfect playback. The problem? Because the 3DS has a higher resolution than the DS/DSi, you will have a lot of empty black real estate on BOTH SCREENS (the touch screen is also of a larger resolution on the 3DS than on the original DS). It's about 15-20% 'empty black' on the touch screen and a lot of empty space on the left and right of the upper screen (since that screen is wider).
