Is that an actual breakable wall that leads to a room though?  Or is it just a 'barrier' type of wall?

It's more of a barrier but the concept of a breakable wall is still there. I think there is also another breakable wall in the luminous caverns but i can't remember which castle it's located in.

I finished the game last weekend with 200% took 10hrs according to my save data file. Seemed pretty easy compared to CotM but I still enjoyed it. I thought the dual castle gimmick was pretty cool. A bit confusing confusing right at first but once I figured out what was going on I really enjoyed it.

Thanks for all the tips!

I started AoS last night and enjoying this one as well so far!

HoD is easier than CotM.  I believe AoS is also easier.  However, AoS is very fluid and quick, so it seems more fun to play than CotM and HoD at times.

There's also only one castle rather then 2 so AoS should progress that much faster for you. It's the soul collecting that will slow it down just enough.

I am already acting obsessive about getting the dang souls. I got three levels killing the same axe armor (the first one I ran across in the game) before he dropped a soul for me LOL.... I may have a long road ahead of me! I should have never printed out that soul hunting list ><

If you played SotN before you bought this game, then I'm sorry to say this but you wasted your money. This game is basically SotN duplicated to a lesser extent. Most of the same breakable walls and other secrets reappear in this installment along with a lot of the same room layout and enemy scenarios. It goes to such an extent to recreate SotN that it barley tries to set itself apart from the pack. Though so much is copied on the surface, it'll never give you the fun that was found SotN and is found in the other handheld titles. If I could give some advice it'll be to stop playing the game. 25% percent doesn’t sound like you wasted too much time. And maybe you can sell it and pick up Metroid Fusion or Zero Mission as they are much more worth your time. (the musics also shit)

There IS one good track though, and that is Sucessor to fate, Juste's theme. But yeah. the composer for HoD makes really messy music. I think he was the one who made the Graham boss theme from AoS. (another messy theme)
Laura and Gabriel arrive in the deepest cave of the castle and... they find IGA.

Harmony of Dissonance has always confused me.  I mean, I thought women couldn't be Belmonts.

They can be...if a certain someone or someones at Konami would throw their male egos out the window.

Christopher so deserved a place in Greatest Five above Juste.  juste never even fought "real" Dracula, whereas Chris did twice, and saved his son the second time.

But yeah, Juste.  Just... Juste.  Last time I beat the game I had furnished the whole room, so in the ending Lydie is hanging off his arm while the three of them talk.  The person watching me play said:

"So... Lydie is Juste's beard?"

That kind of says it all.

Battle for the Throne is by Takashi Yoshida, who contributed a couple of other dire battle themes. He's certainly not a composer of Soshiro Hokkai's ability. Hokkai's actual tracks (Black Sun, Premonition, Hammer Company, Fate of the Devil, You're Not Alone, Purification ~ Ending, and Staff Roll) are great, as before.
