Castlevania's on Wii's virtual console

I love playing the old Castlevania games available on the virtual console. I would definitely like to see more of them...

Any word/rumors on future castlevania releases for the Wii virtual console?

I'm not sure why not more have shown up, but something tells me the GBA ones might show up on the DSiWare/3DSiWare store at some point.

I know that CV1,2,3, SuperCV4, and Rondo of Blood are on the Wii, but I don't know if Bloodlines, DraculaXX, or any of the newer ones have come out as of late.

I'm playing super CV4 right now and really enjoying it (the extra control features are great).

Usually I'll sit down, fire up my Wii and start up CV1 and run through it (sometimes I beat Drac and sometimes I run out of lives) that game can still be just mean sometimes. Then I'll fire up a different game. Currently that game has been super CV4.

I would love to see Bloodlines on virtual console. I have the genesis cart and a genesis unit but I just really enjoy playing these more on the Wii... maybe in future sometime hopefully!

Well if you have the Homebrew Channel, you can enjoy Castlevania Bloodlines and other 'not on the VC yet' titles (including Symphony of the Night and Haunted Castle).

I happen so have CV1,2,3,4,DraculaXX,Rondo of Blood, Bloodlines, CVAdventure, CVA2, CVLegends, and Symphony of the Night, on my Wii memory card (though Rondo of Blood is best if you play the VC version, rather than the emulated version, since the CD-Emulation is weird right now and the emulator needs some help; it's playable and pretty, but requires configuring).

The homebrew channel eh? Hmmm... I will definitely have to look into that. I have only had my Wii for a few weeks so I'm still getting familiar with all the "channel" business.

Thanks for that info I will check it out ASAP!

Yeah, it does.
A few frames get skipped here and there, but it's fine.
XA-Audio is great, as are most of the effects.  I think the only drawback I ever saw was the frameskipping in the more object-filled sections (Royal Chapel Altar Room).

I beat the whole game on there and am playing Richter Mode.
Now if only there was a Saturn emulator for it as well that was reliable.

At the very least, I want Bloodlines & Dracula XX, [and semi-related through Konami history Contra: Hard Corps] to be official released on Wii VC. But with talk of a Wii successor being announced in early June, I'm worried that won't happen.

I'd love to have Bloodlines, Dracula X, Haunted Castle (with selectable difficulty and infinite credits, plz), and the N64 games (or at least LOD) on VC. Would be aaaaawesome.

There's also, of course, The Adventure ReBirth on WiiWare.
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

Playing some SCIV today, good stuff. Forgot to turn of the HD settings and it didnt look good. Think I have III on there too, depends if I feel like some oldschool punishment... but the music is nice. If only it was the Famicom version.

Emulation is cool but sometimes I need to sit and relax and the TV. Well, relaxing as Simons jumping skills can be I guess. What new control features are there?

I'd REALLY like to have the DS Vania's available on the VC.  I've officially gotten fed up with having to charge up my DS just to play PoR or OoE.  I want to play those games on my big screen while sitting on my couch. 8)

What new control features are there?

I was just referring to the ability to whip in any direction and the whip swing thingy by holding down attack button and diddling the D-pad... just new features compared to the previous CV's is what I meant
