The above link goes to the flickr account of Nate "nnenn" Nielson, a custom Lego builder that had a special affinity for Gradius. His flicker account if filled with pictures of his awesome ship designs. The more Gradius looking ones begin around page 6 or 7. Just awesome AWESOME work. Makes me want to go out and get some Lego.

That is just wicked! I used to love making stuff with lego bricks. Of course in my time my main focus was TMNT vehicles.  ;D

This is what I love about lego! It's so versatile that even if you don't have the necessary pieces you can still make what you want without too much difficulty! Those pics of Vic-Viper are a sight to behold  8)

Job well done by this guy, I'd expect a Vic Viper to look like this with the Legos, anything less and I'd have to hunt him down like a dog. :P
