^^^ Sadly, it's a sign of the times. I remember when people would rag on the 80s for being too commercial. "Oh, every cartoon is trying to sell toys!!". Nowadays, the milking that goes on makes the 1980s commericalism seem TAME as hell! I think the motto nowadays is, "When in doubt, remake, remake, and then remake again, and then, for good measure, add another pinch of REMAKE!!".
