it does seem pretty awesome but theres no arcades around here anymore either =(
There might be some around you that you're just not aware of. They could be hidden in places you usually or never go inside, like a bowling alley, for instance.
We have arcades around here in normal places still, which draw good crowds, like the mall, but admittedly, most of the games suck. Boring rail shooters are really popular these days, it seems. I think that's the case because they realized most of the people who waltz into arcades are just regular joes, and rail shooters don't take much time to learn or get good at (which is why I hate them, there's not enough thought put into playing them). I think the people who would gather in arcades and master each fighting game character's move set are in serious decline, unfortunately.
