Would you be interested in a Castlevania World Builder game?

YES!  I want to play in the Castlevania Sandbox!
Maybe if Konami does it right --depends on the features...
No.  World Builder games suck.

Picture this.  Konami gives you the tools you need to create Castlevania as you see fit.  Design your own stages.  Set your own rules.  Select playable characters.  Upload and share your vision of Castlevania with the world!  Do you wanna play in the Castlevania Sandbox?  What would you like to see in such a game?  8 bit?  16 bit?  2.5D?  3D?  Your imagination is the limit.  What would you build if such a game ever came out?

YES, I would be VERY interested in something like this, but only if it worked in such a way that allowed for 2D tile building, and other such features relating to the ability to create your own version of Castlevania utilizing all the tools and effects contained within the series' 2D releases thus far.

Plus, it would have to have an intuitive enough UI, that all mentioned above would be possible without the need for programming on my part.

Also, tile, character and enemy creation/customization is a must.

Get to work on it Konami!!!

I was hoping they'd do that with Harmony of Despair, the create and upload levels part at least

Who knows? Maybe there's actually one of these in Japan, and HD's what IGA made on that program. :P

I'm betting on TheouAegis' CV Engine being complete before Konami ever does anything of the sort.

If this were real I'd have cranked out several CV games already. They're all in my head as of now but I'd love to get them out on a program to play. I'd hit this!

closest thing we got to that was Enemy Set mode in Dawn of Sorrow.  that wasn't that great.  of course, it wasn't exactly a level editor.

Lots of possibilities here. There are so many ideas that I've been tossing around over time.

A suggestion unlikely to be fulfilled, but a darned great one at that.

I would absolutely love to play in the Sandbox.
I trust Konami to provide me with enough materials to work with.

Not only that but I'd also expect the program to be versatile enough to allow you to make your own materials and such. Kinda like RPGMaker 2000.

A full editor like WarCraft III's would be killer.

This would be pretty sweet. Especially if you could add your own music to the different areas of the castle you build. I would arrange all my favorite Castlevania music into one game!

i think it would be cool but it would have to be easily understandable and not take up an entire year.
