I was wondering if anyone here at the Dungeon has beaten Jordan and/or Through the Fire and Flames on expert.

I don't have GHIII yet, but I have seen videos and read that Through the Fire and Flames  has over 3500 notes.  I am working on completing Jordan, but I can get maybe about 75% through the solo, then I fail.

Never played GHIII, but I'm a real guitarist and I get burned on the solos to the Stevie Ray Vaughan and Hendrix tunes every time!  :P

I can barely play TFAF on Medium!

I'm a Medium/Hard player. Don't get how to do the hand movements for expert.

I can't beat Lou on hard mode...they made him so hard, I mean, what the hell were they thinking...it doesn't help that the hard mode in this version gets more like the expert mode in the last version towards the end of the game.  Play Raining Blood, you'll understand...

I can only play on Medium. If you look on Youtube, they have a Jordan "tapping" tutorial. Someone beats Jordan on Expert with  95%.

I haven't really played any of the bonus songs on GHIII yet (besides  Through the Fire and Flames during the credits), but Slayer's Raining Blood rapes me every time. Beating Lou can be a chore since Devil Went Down to Georgia's solos are literally hell.

Guitar Hero rocks. Haven't tried Rock band yet.

Im a meduim/hard player but I play Frets on Fire so it doesnt actually stop me if I do horribly. But if you think some of the GH3 songs are hard you should try some of the fanmade songs for Frets.

I've beaten Jordan on expert before, I'm not consistent though   cuz the notes come so fast, if you miss one your pretty much screwed. I think the best I've done is like 85%.

Funny thing is if you do beat Through the Fire and the Flames on expert mode, you know you've just made it sound about 40 times better than the real Dragonforce can do live.

I heard that they were just as good live?  Am I missing something...not that I like DragonForce, but...I used to listen to them before I heard the words Fly, Free, Flames, etc., too many times....

Same here.  That song is brutal.
I can 5 start all songs on hard except some of the songs in the bottom group.
I can beat all the songs on expert except some of the songs in the bottom group.

Of coure that was before my 360 decided to Red Ring. :'(

Well, I like their singer more live, but they get so drunk before a show that the guitarists can't even play half as fast as on the album, and fast guitars being their key niche, and the fact that it only sounds like a Dragonforce song if you can remember the beat and maybe the lyrics destroys it for me. I've never seen a worse live performance in my life.

I can play guitar pretty well.  I suck at Guitar Hero.  Dunno where the disconnect is.
