Capcom just continues to disapoint.

First they reboot one of my favorite gaming series DMC and a very lame matter.

Then they give us xbox360/ps3 fans a Resident evil game that just feels like a modded Socom game that added resident evil characters.

And now they have canceled MML3 *facepalm*.

This just further goes to show you that Capcom does not give a damn about the fans 1 bit IMO.

Its all 100% about the money and nothing else even matters to them.
Its pretty evident considering their recent actions since All the points I pointed out above where all "just business" also.

I really have been missing the X,Zero,and ZX series as of late.

Its seems as if Capcom will never get back to them at this point given how little they care about the series now.

I never really cared for the Legends games, but this is yet another sad example of what Kenji Inafune was talking about...  The Japanese game industry is in decline.  The businessmen running these companies are avoiding creative risk and stifling innovation --not to mention skunking the fans.  These fools need a heavy handed reminder that they are in the business of selling art.

^^^ That's sad, actually, because that's where Hollywood is right about now. I just heard they cancelled the Dark Towers movies(which seemingly was going to be head by Ron Howard). A bit back, they also cancelled Guillermo Del Toro's "At the Mountains of Madness", which Del Toro said was one of the movies he always wanted to do, and wanted to keep as true to Lovecraft's original story as possible. It really IS sick how suits think. Del Toro mentioned, prior to getting James Cameron to help him produce(which STILL resulted with the project being canned), when he'd pitch his story to the studios, they all said, "We'll only greenlight the project if you add a romance, make it PG-13 and set it in modern times!!". Del Toro basically said, "Fuck you, this movie HAS to be set in the era Lovecraft wrote it to be, no romance and Hard-R!!! No exceptions!!". Really, is this what art and enjoyment has become? It's really kinda sad. I'd totally be up for a major revolution on art and entertainment. Burn the suits, remove their influence from the equation. I know someone will say, "But it's a business, and business's sole purpose is to make money!", which is seemingly the default excuse post hippie-PC world. Of course, pimps and drug dealers are also out to make money, and you can justify it by saying, "Hey, they need to eat and put food on their table!". Sure, it's deemed "illegal" and the businesses are doing it legally, but either way, someone's getting screwed. Just because someone's screwing you legally doesn't make it any better. 

Like I say, no one has the balls to do anything anymore. The sole trend of rebooting things is proof of that.

The only thing that was said was that it was "Just Business".

By that I would have to assume that it means that somehow Capcom did not think that from a business standpoint it would succeed.

This is the third Megaman project cancelled this year, and the one I was highly anticipating too. Fuck you Capcom, I don't care if it was for "business purposes", they could have AT LEAST released the demo and see what happened from there.

Because they are butthurt that Inafune pretty much hit home when he badmouthed Capcom's policies and the Japanese gaming industry in general. So they are canceling anything he started before leaving.

Wow,

First they Ruin Resident evil, making the game NOT resident evil

Then They Destroy MvC with 3, making all the characters have the same strategy to winning (air combo into hyper)

They Trash Street Fighter by Releasing 2 with 3d gfx and call it 4, give us more characters and 6 Ryus

They Kill off Megaman Universe, Legends 3, and soon Online (its a matter of time)

DmC is the only thing left, and Its already on thin glass.

Capcom in now Crapom.

Apparently some of the larger video game companies work on a system of periodic evaluations where by if you don't make the cut at one of these points your project gets nuked. Seems pretty retarded to me to waste time and resources on stuff you aren't really committed to.

Its also in part due to developers backing away from the 3DS recently due to expectations that it will not be a huge success.
