Is kind of sad  :'( (and wrath, maybe >:( ), but some other games will have an anniversary project or game. Tell me if is not true, but Zelda is planning something, isn´t? Halo has something to celebrate it anniversary, I guess. Even Mario have an anniversary tittle and pack in the past...

... All that I have as a little (very little) shine of light, are the words of Konami (vice president? I can´t remember) in the pre conference in past E3, when he mentioned that this year is the Castlevania anniversary.

I hope is not to late...

Yeah. Plus the TGS is our very last chance to get something for the Anniversary. After it'll be too late.

Not Really, PSO2 is a PSO 10th anniversary project that will be out next year.
they could be working on someting now, but it'll have to wait til next year most likely.

This is very sad...
Not a very bright move on Konami's part too, since they would be missing out on the opportunity to cash in on the 25th anniversary.

So, they don't release anniversary project and you consider series dead?
There is no logic, nor meaning in this.

It's sad that Konami probably will not create anything to celebrate that great date, but by any means it doesn't mean cancelation or otherwise end of the franchise.

Well, except from Harmony of Disgrace for the PS3 and the sequel of Lords of The Shadows in the near future, there is no other Castlevania game. So, as far as now, for me the series are dead!!!

No, I consider it dead because Lords of Shadow was a giant let down and the only thing we got this year was DLC and Harmony of Despair, all of the above were incredibly underwhelming.

Dead was an exaggeration on my part, but it's close enough to the truth whether you want to admit it or not. Metal Gear is Konami's #1 and only priority.

Fixed for accuracy, If Konami wanted to they could flat out STOP making Castlevania games altogether and strive on Metal Gear and PES alone(and to a lesser extent Yugioh.)

Considering how much Mercury steam believes there game is a tribute to the classic Castlevania's Konami probably thinks we don't need anything to celebrate the anniversary because we got LOS already :P

It sure is a fun time to be into Castlevania isn't it?

I dont understand why people are so surprised of this. I remember reading that IGA didnt knew of CV 20 anniversary when he was doing PoR (Though he did made up for that next year with DXC Chronicles)
