Wussup peoples, like the topics says I need a little help. I have checked spriters-resource, but there don't appear to be any there. I am looking for specifically the great sword animations from POR and DOS, and also the katana animations from DOS (not the icons for the items; Mr. P's site has all of those). I saw quite a few of them somewhere before, but even after searching on google for 45 minutes I cannot find them again.

I could also use links to any sprites for the mummy enemies and behemoth boss from POR that are ACTUALLY ASSEMBLED and NOT in a million pieces. Can anyone help with this?

Did you try asking Serio? He has a lot of rips but never updates that sprite rip site of his.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.

Really? Well thanks Pemburu; I could use all of the katana animations from DOS, and the great swords and axe animations from POR.

Tell me, how exactly do you rip them from those games?

I have TM and I have used it quite a bit over the years; what settings do you use and what address range are the gfx found in?

Open the ROM with TM and set the codec to 4bpp linear, reverse-order and set the mode to 2 dimension and go to address 21DA000, for the gfx of Jonathan's weapons and 158A000 for Soma's weapons.

Note: I used the US version of Both ROMs.

Ah I see them! I should have known it would use the same setting as SOTN. Do you know where the color palettes are found by any chance? And I assume it uses BGR?

EDIT: I also found a few at 453ef0. But they appear to be sand colored palettes. And I found some in a few other places too........... shit, are the weapons palettes scattered all over by any chance?  :-\

Sorry for the late reply, I am still not quite fit yet.

For the palette address of John's weapon it starts at 2584828.

Just add 36 to it and you'll get the palette for the next weapon (example; 2584828+36= 2584864).

As for Soma's weapon palettes, I haven't found them yet.

Ok, I have found Soma's weapons palette address, it starts at 1994316.

Since I've told you all the information needed to rip the weapon sprites from DoS and PoR, I will leave it to you or anyone here to do the ripping. (I'm not quite fit to do it yet.)

Here are some that I ripped:

Ok thanks for the info. But what do you mean by "not quite fit?" You have to have something really bad to not be able to just click a mouse and type text?  ???

I can still click a mouse and type text, just not for a long time, I get dizzy whenever I do something that requires concentration. Even listening to song or anything that is stimulating could get me feel very tense and restrained.

It all started when I had a panic attack about 6 months ago, it was very frightening, that I thought I was going to die. Even while I'm typing this I'm feeling very tense.

Well that's not good at all. You going to be okay?

I believe I'm going to be okay, since the doctor told me I'm physically fine, I still need to take medicine everyday though. I just need to exercise for a bit and reduce interneting or doing stuff that would cause me dizzy or restrained.

Thanks for your concern. :)
