Castlevania belongs to MercurySteam now. We now must get used to them releasing a new game every 2-3 years with nothing in between. Konami doesn't believe in 2D Castlevania anymore. IGA now works on stuff like "Leedmees" & puzzle games for xbox. Forget 25 years of Castlevania, cuz a new era has begun.

Anyone else as excited as I am?

I ask this all the time but nobody answers: does a line-up also include announcements of new games or not? Because if that isn't the case I see no reason to get all worried.

Not sure how Konami does things, but I haves seen line-ups in the past list 'unannounced title' if they have a new game they are announcing.

There was a rumor on NeoGAF that a Castlevania game (along with a Contra and Fire Emblem) will be revealed at Nintendo's 3DS event.

It's unrelated to TGS, so maybe there's still a glimmer of hope. Though the same poster said fans of any of those franchises may be disappointed with the titles...:<

There's no need to get all seriously morose and depressed when nothing has happened yet. If TSG goes by and absolutely nothing happens, then we all have a pass to get mopey and such. (and even then, it won't do any good) Until then, quit being such unbelievable downers.

There is always a chance because it's a new title that it's not on this list. Also thee is a possibility that it might not be ready for a show like TGS, and maybe it will be announced in a magazine or something. I would be disappointed if we don't get any thing, but I'm not setting my expectations high either

I think the 3D Classics program had only up to 6 or so games planned. Haven't all of them come out then?
