Castlevania LoS PS3 PAL save games available for download?

Here's my sordid story.

I bought the NTSC PS3 limited edition of LoS. This being a region free machine, I assumed it makes no difference what version I buy. Then I finished the game and thought I'd buy the Reverie DLC. The extra stages wouldn't show. I soon found out this is because the DLCs are dependable on the region of the game. I contacted Sony who refuse a refund since this is mentioned in the PS3 Network contract. So I think: "hey, I've already  burned so much cash on this shit, what difference does a 20 € or so make" and got the PAL version. You can probably guess what I found out after starting the game; of course the NTSC save games don't work on a PAL game. Heh, well at least I now have both versions for collective purposes

You don't need to tell me I was careless. I already feel stupid as fuck. Either way, I would just like to close the book on this game and play the damn DLCs already. But I really, really don't feel like playing this long-ass game from the beginning just to be able to play them. So I'm asking for what it says on the topic title.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section (though I think this is definitely a CV-related topic) and I did this needed a topic of its own since this would likely just drown on the colossal LoS thread.

Also, I did google and gamefaqs seems to have one available. But it has all achiements there and I would like the enjoyment of unlocking the achievements myself.

You can download a PAL save file from Gamefaqs.

Yeah, I checked it out and I'm probably gonna have to go with it, unless someone can offer a playthrough with all the achievements intact.

I hope that my bumbling can at least act as a warning so others won't make the same mistakes

You can check gamefaqs for saves, they always have stuff like that. Just don't bother clicking on the message board lol.

Edit- these jerks "nagumo" and "shelverton." beat me to the punch, aarghh!!

The gamefaqs message boards are not always that bad, but it obviously depends on what game you're looking at. The boards for all the mainstream games are h o r r i b l e, but niche games and obscure titles luckily don't attract the stupid people, cause they're busy bitching about Halo/GTA/Call of Duty/God or War. I've gotten some help with a couple of obscure RPGs from the message boards in the past, where the discussions were surprisingly intelligent!

So how do I copy the save data? The system won't recognize any save data on my USB stick. I tried it in .zip form and I tried it extracted. The data doesn't show up so I could copy it.

Edit: nevermind, I seemed to have figured that out. Now, all I think I've got to do is copy the NTSC save safe somewhere, but it doesn't give the copy option so I could store it to my USB stick.
