Who else is playing and revelling in its' majesty? Seriously, I am blown away by the mood and art direction.. not to mention, difficulty.

Haven't played it but watched my brother slog through it. Looks goddamn amazing, one of the few RPGs that is very appealing to me.

1. Do I have to play Demon's Souls to understand Dark Soul's?

2. Is there a storyline to this game?

3. Fun factor 1 being horseshit & 10 being awesomesauce, where does it rate?

1. No. Its a spiritual sequel.

2. Kinda but not really and its not important.

3. Id say its a 9. Its damn fun but the extreme difficulty will get to everyone. How often just depends on you

Agree with Aridale..

Gargoyles, use some Pine Resin to add lightning to your weapon, Gargoyles weakness..

Have you ventured to Darkroot Garden yet, by the blacksmith? You can get some goods there, and souls, so you can level up more.. leveling up really helps.

I just picked this up but haven't had a chance to get started yet. I've been sucked into Harmony of Despair and just started leveling up Shanoa.

I just bought the collectors edition off eBay and am very excited to get it. I hope it's not as hard as they say. I would like to be able to play through it. Either way I it's got some of the coolest art style I've seen in a game, at least the screens I've seen. I bet it'll be gorgeous on my TV.
