(I can throw my hat into that ring easily)

I've sent you a cookie via UPS.

Wow you people.. I'm not going to sit here and prove to anyone how much Castlevania music I've listened to in my life. Been listening to it since I popped in CV3 in my NES in 1991 but whatever.

And Sindra, if you can't handle my opinion then you can kindly piss right off. There are but a few moments in that entire video where I can hear any Castlevania remixes. If anything, it can pass for an original score with a slight remix here and there and I don't like it.

It's gonna be alright.. I promise. No heart attacks are necessary.

Awww, look at that! Rugal's in a "who's got a bigger dick" contest with me. Don't worry my friend, I assure you that you are the bigger dick.  :D

On a more serious note, I assume you don't listen much to stuff from Overclocked Remix or the like, right? Or Dwelling of Duels. This is the same kind of music that comes from them. Although honestly, if this were an OCR project album, even less of the original source material would be able to be heard at all. (they tend to go more and more for original mockups of tunes than remixes that you can clearly hear the source tunes) And like was said....this is only a teaser trailer that you're getting your "opinions" from. Calling it crap before you hear the whole thing is kinda defeating the purpose.

And I will patiently be awaiting my cookie with baited breath.

Dwelling of Duels

Love with what comes up from them one of my favorites is this (it helps me study sometimes):

New Castlevania Richter Belmont Theme ''Normal Version''

Come on now this was going to happen eventually  :P

Hey, you're the one that attempted to compare dicks with me and saying that I'm probably wrong about my Castlevania music experience. You must have the biggest dick of them all, huh? You deserve an extra cookie!

Why does my calling it crap right now defeat the purpose? If I download a demo of a game and don't like it at all, do you think I'm going to go out and buy said game when the full release comes out? You are clearly having a hard time and looking in way too deeply into someone else opinion. You need to CLAM DOWN a bit. CLAM. DOWN.

Send me a box of Thin Mints, and we'll call it even. Might as well at this point.

I support Rugal being an insufferable douche in this thread, it's humorous on a subtle level. The gist of the joke taking place is him immaturely calling it "shit" or "crap" just because he particularly doesn't like it so he automatically thinks it's worthless and has no redeeming value despite so much creative talent that went into this thing. Everything's so black and white with this guy, it's slightly comedic how magically autistic he's displaying himself for all to see! IT'S DELICIOUS! ;D

You know, I think Jorge's gonna "like where this thread is going" sooner or later.  :-X
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Secondly, nice job putting words in my mouth.

Dudes, please stop arguing. I don't have Jorge's authority, but don't spam this thread with stupid insults. Come back on topic and discuss about Vampire Variations. Are you looking to get it? Which track in the 2 previews do you prefer so far?

Sorry Chern. Didn't mean to derail your topic. People who bash on good music without a decent enough explanation burn my ass.

Come to think of it, I've never heard any of your own stuff before, but I have heard stuff from most of the other artists on this album. You got a place you stash your music?

No problem, Sindra. The Internet is the Internet, haha.

If you want an example of my work, you may want to check Harmony of a Hunter (a Metroid tribute album). I also posted in the Fan-work subforum.

I'll try not to escalate any trouble in this thread even if I do LOVE Rugal flailing his arms around in anger. That's just comedy gold, folks. I'd explain who I am to him but that would be even more off topic, right? Pretty tedious and unnecessary I'd say.

BACK ON TOPIC: I'm psyched that this digital release is going to be free on Halloween! Fuck yeah!

Well shit, now I'm curious who you are. O.o

Chern, that was some pretty awesome stuff, and with VikingGuitar no less! (I'm not as huge a fan of Metroid but I know good music!)
