Markyjoe1990 Let's Plays Castlevania Chronicles

This game was introduced to me by my friend Luizprower. My initial reactions were "just another Castlevania", but the game began throwing a lot of unexpected surprises at me, and it was incredibly difficult, two things I thoroughly enjoy in a Castlevania. After I beat it, I wanted to master it, and beat it without using continues. Several playthroughs later, I've decided that it's one of my favorite old school castlevanias.

Then I decided to let's play it. The entire game was played through in one sitting. I'm quite happy with how it turned out. I hope my commentary can entertain you.

Block 1: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 1] - Party at Vlad's
Block 2: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 2] - The Cave of Porno Music
Block 3: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 3] - Simon Belmont On Ice
Block 4: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 4] - STRATEGY!
Block 5: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 5] - Cogs of Memorization
Block 6: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 6] - Attack of the Barbie Dolls
Block 7: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 7] - THAT Explains the T Rating!
Block 8: MJ1990 Commentary: Castlevania Chronicles [Block 8] - The Final Whipping

I might start posting my other Castlevania playthroughs here as well.

Haha. That wasn't actually rage. It was more so me just exaggerating the obnoxious heart depletion sound when you clear a stage.

Your references to Whatever Scarlet from Touhou are outdated.  May I suggest you replace them with Sophia?

Negative. I know nothing about Sophia.

Uh...I think Remilia Scarlet is much more relevant to knife-throwing maids compared to Sophia.
Wait, are you trying to pimp her out? Sophia, I mean.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Am watching this now. So far it's entertaining, EXCEPT (dun dun DUN!!!) ... did you call the cave music from Super Castlevania 4 "underwhelming"? That is unheard of. But each to his own!
