Left you a review, Waffle-kun :D

But man, they've really sexualized Sypha in recent games. I'm not usually one to agree with that sort of sentiment, but I see where Gummi is coming from...now Sypha looks like a schoolgirl rather than a mysterious witch, like she was in CV3. :P

Okay that was NOT Sypha. Nuff said.

[sarcasm]That is so surprising nowadays.[/sarcasm]

I'll be really happy if they manage to make Sypha close to her CV3 portrayal, but in this game it was only natural to expect all possible deviations from the "canon". And oversexualising characters from the past is practically a casual practice today.

I liked Judgment Sypha, Wafflums. Sure, she was "sexualized" there, too, especially with her large, delightful and delectable titties, but her outfit was very classy. Weird as all hell, given it was Judgment, but at least she wore pants or leggings or whatever instead of KAWAII UGUU schoolgirl outfit. :P

SOME of Judgement's designs were interesting or "alright".

It made her look like a goddamn Sakura Wars cosplayer.

What if I happen to like the KAWAII UGUU schoolgirl outfit?

She has nice legs.

I still like Judgement Shanoa more than canon Shanoa.  All other Judgement designs are over-designed and anachronistic as hell.

Well, looking at it, it does look pretty Sakura-Wars-y. Is that a bad thing, though? You know that Gunlord loves him some Sakura Wars girls in their tight leggings. Mmmmm-mmmm 8)

Judgment Shanoa wasn't bad either. The nun motif was interesting, at least, though IMO original shanoa managed to be sexy *and* classy at the same time. ;o

I found it's strange to complain about little side project. Especially from position of Canon.

Side project or not, the fact that they base this off CV:III, refuse to include Grant, and not portray Sypha as the enigmatic witch she is, is pretty much a slap in the face to that game and its fans. And while I understand that over-sexualizing females in games (much like Angela in the first two installments) is common, I just find this unnecessary for a character like Sypha, regardless if this game is Canon or not. Angela was a different case, due to her fighting style and powers, which was fine with me.

Anyway, at least I can happily say that Sypha's design is far more tolerable than her Judgement one, because her boobs look proportionate with the rest of her body this time.

Yeah I liked Shanoa too. And despite the design of the actual spear and the fact they made him a little boy, Eric Lecarde's outfit was surprisingly tame.

Say what you will about Trevor having enough belts to make Square Enix proud, I kind of like his design. It's refreshing to see him with short hair as opposed to long hair, and I liked the idea of an eyepatch over his scarred eye.

Alucard... well, it wasnt TOO bad, but it wasnt too good either. He just looks kind of bland.

Cornell looked pretty cool, but my peeve with the design is that he looks like some kind of armored suit or robot rather than an actual werewolf.

OST tracklist (Japanese only). We'll have another bunch of already existing tracks.

EDIT: After a quick Google translation, it seems tracks 19 to 41 are returning tracks. What a surprise.

Well, can't expect them to actually spring for a lot of new music for a Pachislot game. They'd be better off putting that money towards making an entirely new 2D iteration with an entirely new OST anyway, but they don't seem too anxious to do that yet.

If the slot's music tracks from 1 to 18 are original then I think they'd be worth a listen. I would if they were uploaded here for a preview.

Just listened to De-a Lungul Vietii's sample, it follows HD's metal style closely (the instruments aren't 100% guitars, fortunately, though one may argue that the guitars are still dominant) while also containing Latin vocals like the Big Bonus themes from the previous two games. Depending on your tastes, this may either be good news or bad news.

It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Where can I hear the samples? If it's offered on the Pachislot site, I can't find the secret moonrune for it.
