I'm probably alone here, but I think LoK overused the platforming elements and didn't have enough action. The games kinda felt like a dark version of Tomb Raider sometimes.
Also, What's with the instant-death for Kain in Defiance every time he falls into water? Goddamnit he's supposed to be the most powerful vampire in the universe why the f**k is he so hydrophobic?

This holy water, in LoK's continuity, there is no holy water, but that aspect of it applies to all water vs vampires. With the exception of the older vampires, like mentioned and Zephon, I believe, because he adapted to it... a bit like Raziel adapted to grow wings.

Not the new one (that looks fantastic) but the old one! The Legends one. it was a reboot, retained everything that was good in the first place and made the series relevant again, these guys know how to make a good reboot  ;D

Ah... are you talking about the remake of teh first game with the first new Lara Croft replacement? I think I have it somewhere, never played it either.

Yea... I can't remember which is which... maybe Zephon was the bat one that was very sensitive to sound.

Zephon was technically impressive, it's big, like BIG. Loved his voice (and its dialogue), could be my favorite "brother".

Kind of! The remake you are talking about was the second game in the trilogy, called Annyversary, an adaptation nof the first game to the new continuity (but pretty much a remake, that was great), the first one was Legend (that gave a whole new origin and backstory) and the last one was Underworld.

Oh crap Zephon, the cathedral area is awesome but also very annoying with those damn zephonims falling from the walls, they usually outnumber Raziel and always have to throw the first hit, making the Soul Reaver useless unless you're super fast to dodge their attacks. I hate them ha ha

The ones that took me the longest to figure out were Melchia and Dumah, who literally chased me for like two hours before I was able to set him up lol good times ;D

Was Melchaia the first one, that you get Phasing from? Was easy enough.

Dumah was easy when I fought him. Took a while for me to give up and run around to look for things to do.

Melchiah and Dumah are easy when you figure out what action you must do to defeat them, until then you gotta run. Is not a big deal with Melchiah because you run in circles but with Dumah you have to run across the entire stronghold with a vampire twice Raziel's size behind you, you can't see him most of the time plus he can paralize you :x

It took me a long time to defeat him, mostly because at first I was focused in running away from him ha ha
Later I found out I had to ignite him but is not always so easy to lure and keep him there

I had that same problem, it appears to be some kind of resetting, if you don't stay close enough to him while running you'll have to start all over again
