D-pad? My computer doesn't come with a... oh right. I've never owned an N64. I've only emulated the game, which is to say it sucked a whole lot worse than it should have.

Now that I think of it, a LoD HD remaster wouldn't fix most of the more intrinsic problems the game has, but mapping controls to a more modern controller and unfuzzying the graphics and textures would go a long way to handling at least some of them.

That said, it's an under-appreciated game, and knocking it in with other games would be good for the series, I think.

I am also in favor of packaging SCIV, Legacy, and Lament, all in HD textures as a single set.

The most I see an HD collection actually being is something similar to Metal Gear Solid's collection. The two PS2 titles (in MGS's case, Sons of Liberty and Snake Eater. So in CV's case, Lament of Innocence and Curse of Darkness), and the most popular PSP title (Peace Walker in MGS's case, or the only PSP title in CV's case, Dracula X Chronicles).

Every collection I've seen so far has been of PS2 and PSP games, unless I'm missing some. While I doubt Legacy of Darkness will be in one, Perfect Dark DID get an HD remastering (as someone said before me).

In an off-topic note about that, I really wish they did something about the controls. I really loved the game back when I got it new for the N64, but playing it today (especially on an entirely differently shaped controller), the gameplay just feels really dated to me. Even when you put on the Halo or Call of Duty control schemes (the former of which I believe has the BEST controls for an FPS ever, seconded by Killzone 3). Honestly, I'd prefer if they remade the game rather than just remastering it.

Now if they remastered Legacy of Darkness... Oh boy, even if it felt dated, I'd still buy it, considering I love the N64 titles.
