Who am I kidding? I'll buy it even if I'll hate it.

LOI is rather interesting game to me. While certainly having obvious problems in level design departament, this game game have awesome boss battles and the best soundtrack amongst "IGAvanias". I don't care about graphics and the only thing that really need improvement in this game are levels. Sadly, in the current state, LOI is very boring and the onle thing that could save player from dosing while playing in it, is him being either loyal stuff collector or just being OK with less-than-uninpired level structure. Overall, it's one of the best CV titles in the series, IMO.

I am glad that this game will be rerealeased on another platfrom - maybe more people will love it (and there are a lot of reasons to like this game). At the very least it's a decent choice for a rerealease, much better than horrible CVA.  :)

gosh I love Lament of Innocence, looking forward to playing it again without having to hook up a PS2.

glad to learn they made a Yugio card of Nanobreaker.  i thought a lot about that game was good.  except that the AI really stunk and it did get tiresome fighting an overwhelming quantity of enemies...

Now, I'm not the sort of person to question another person's choice of "one of the best CV titles in the series," but I'm really confused that someone would list a game they admit is very boring to them. I believe the opposite of fun is drudgery and toil... you know, boring or trying stuff. Isn't the ultimate purpose of playing video games to have fun?

I think he meant to say "one of the best 3D CV titles in the series". Which I'd agree with... but I still think the N64 games are better  :P ;D
I don't have that big a problem with the level design in LoI, it's only really "bad" in a few cases (looking at you House of Sacred Remains) and overall is good or at least decent imo.

Sorry, I formulated it quite confusingly.
I meant, that if you overlook boring design and consider only best parts of the game (artstyle, atmosphere, music, boss battles) then it is one of the best games in the series, IMO.

I would love it if they had a sound clip option like in the ds games. The game has some quotes I would love to have a text message sounds.

Doesn't it already? Or maybe I'm thinking of Curse of Darkness... One or both of those has the option.

Anyway, bit of a shame it's not an HD release, but oh well. I've still got my PS2 copy and a tube TV, so I'm good.
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.

CoD has that option, after finishing the game.

I haven't played it in ages, but if i remember correct, you can chose it from the main menu, at the options menu, after you have finish the game. I'll have to look my save data to confirm it 100%.

Actually, the voice option is available from the get-go. It's done in the options area on the main menu. Can't really say about the Xbox version, since I never owned that one.

And Japanese voice option was also available in LoI.

And I'm one who usually says Japanese dubs are great, but I think the ones done for these two particular games are just flatout awful. In my opinion, CoD's Japanese dub makes the PS1 version of SotN 's English dub sound topnotch.

As far as LoI coming to PS3, I don't think I'll actually be buying it. I mean, I have it on PS2, so there's no reason at all I'd even consider buying the same game on the PS3, probably for the typical $14.99 PSN price, when I bought my PS2 copy for $4.99. If it were an HD version, or some kind of special edition a la Persona 3 on the PSN (though I'm aware this version was also on PS2, so not likely), I'd probably fork out the money to buy it. But as it stands, I'd only buy it if I had extra money to burn, but I'd probably use that money on LoS DLC chapters instead of a game I already have.
