Dark Souls new DLC

I have just downloaded the new DLC for dark souls, along with the new 1.06 patch, but i haven't yet make it to the new content, but i have noticed, since i am on a new game+, that the damage i receive from enemies is lessen from what i remember from the last time that i have played it. Anyone else here played with the new patch? I have read that they have made some changes to some equipments, but for the worst (downgrading equipment).

I have the dlc and new patch but I haven't really noticed a lot of changes. I read what the new patch had but it doesn't really affect my character. I'm in ng+ but idk if enemies are doing less or not. I haven't paid too much attention. I'm barely into the new content but sadly haven't played much due to school.

I'm through half ng+, so i haven't play the new DLC, but i clearly remember enemies dealing me a lot of damage before the patch. i'm at sl129 btw. Maybe they balanced  the damage factor with the new patch, because of the new content.

My favorite game on 360, I can't wait to play this new content. I'm in the military now and haven't played this since March. Anyhow I will be getting my 360 over Christmas time. This will be the first thing I get. They seem to lower the awesomeness of gear with every patch sorta sucks. I guess if they made the enemies weaker it's all fair though. Though I'm guessing the Four Kings are still ridiculous, especially on ng+. Guess I'll wait and see. I was hoping they would change there mind in a patch and make the gold hemned set back up to its old stats. So I've read you need to get to the Dukes Archives basically to get to the new content, but nobody is there yet... I shall see if I can find a video on youtube.

After playing some more of the game, sadly there is no enemies weaker stat's, so the game stays hard as living hell, especially on ng+. Even with a sl135, early bosses, can take you out with 2 strikes.

I've started the DLC, just beat the Sanctuary Guardian. To be honest, so far I'm somewhat disappointed, it seems a little rushed...when I was fighting the Guardian, there were some very bad flickering/framerate problems--I couldn't see his projectiles, and several other elements of the gameplay field, most notably my bloodstain.
