And I LOVE IT!

Sadly, I don't know any of the songs it gives you to start out with(with the exception of Life Is A Highway), but hey, that's why there's free mode. So I was able to save my own little chord setups for songs. I got 8 songs now, some Helloween(Windmill is just beautiful), Beatles, Sparks, and who could ignore Smoke On The Water. It really does sound like a real electro-acoustic guitar. Then I hooked it up to my brothers guitar amp, and BAM! I was all up in my own makeshift heavy metal version of All My Loving by the Beatles! Soon I'll even be writing my own songs.

This game(or tool, rather) is a whole lot of fun, and I really recommend it to anyone even remotely interested in music or the guitar.

Can you only do chords on it or can you actually play singular notes?

Nowadays you are either a graphics whore or a fanboy. BR is Shank not CV. It is ridiculous to think that it is better than CV. If it was CV then it would be what RE4 is to Resi, a series killer. Dumb it down and make it look pretty. Enough idiots will buy it.

That's one thing that disappointed me. You can't play any individual notes, or power chords. I've found somewhat of a way around power chords by replacing them with a similar, but slightly more complex chord, so it sounds close enough, just a little heavier sound when hooked up to an amp. Acoustically it sounds perfect. But, yeah, so that means no guitar solos. :(

I'm still having tons of fun with it though, even despite that little detail. There are enough good songs out there with mainly chords to keep me happy.

I just play around on guitar for fun. I do all my writing on a keyboard but the game sounds interesting so i'll pick it up sometime.
