Topic: Anyone got the Castlevania Legends graphic hacks?

There were a couple CV Legends graphic hacks released years ago. One by me and another by somewhere else. Anyone happen to have them anymore? The website they were hosted on is gone. I think the guy that ran the websites was named Dracul.

I Googled for some CV Legends hacks and the only thing I can come up with so far is a speed hack. Sonia moves just a little bit faster then in the original rom.

I had one but the hack only works on Dark Night Prelude (Castlevania Legends, JPN version).
It was done by a person named KY-RA and updated the graphics heavily.

If I recall:
-Made the enemies less cartoony
-Made Sonia's sprite far better.
-Made Sonia use a sword instead of a whip.

However, all info on that seems to be lost.

I found the hack: it was bundled with other ROM at emu-russia. Here's the patch:

I think it's the 2.0 version cause I think I changed the collectables to Dracs body parts in it. I was working on the hack further and added shading and redid a few things but I never uploaded it anywhere so it's lost to time. The hack is SOTN inspired and all the ground block tiles should be unique to each stage. For some reason there were unique floor block tiles for every stage, yet they all used the same graphics. A couple graphics (For sure in the clock tower) were taken from the SHIKKOKU hack.

What localization is this Legends SotN hack for? I've tried it out and the graphics are a bit of a mess.

Yup, the SHIKKOKU hack may have picked the JP version cause the author was Japanese. I picked the Japanese version cause it features SRAM instead of passwords.
