I love that game its so much fun and it's crazy hard. I'd say it's probably as hard as most of the contra games, you have a life bar but most of the time it does you no good cuz there's constant spikes and holes and other obstacles and enemies that can kill you in 1 hit. The bosses take so many hits that it really doesn't help you in most of the boss fights either. I wish the show would have lasted longer I used to watch it all the time growing up and have all the vhs tapes of it still buried in all my storage.

Yeah the games awesome, I def. recommend it if your looking for something new to play for the nes, and I'm hoping the show does get an eventual dvd release there were quite a few eps, I think around 2 seasons. :)

I loved the game back in the day. It has several different playable characters, right? I tried playing it again recently and it kicked my ass.

Yeah you get a max of 5 playable ones, but you have to rescue them all. Yeah it's tough, I could never get past the red planet as a kid. I didn't beat it for the first time until probably 7 years ago.
