Gaming controllers are easier to use than a keyboard for a fighting game, simply because there are fewer buttons to accidentally press.

That's my two bits on the discussion...

Why on earth would you be using the keyboard in the first place? O_o if you have a wired PS3 controller, it'll work on a PC, and I think the same holds true for a 360 controller.

Hahaha oh man, I remember when that came out! xD

Seriously though, I'm using not only my HRAP3SA but a wired PS3 controller (Afterglow I think) with my PC and both work like a charm!

Because it's more versatile, and due to recent developments in the next-gen consoles, less costly in the long run.
And I know a fair share of people who can kick ass with a keyboard, with one of them among us (hint: he has a Battler avatar).

Thanks for mentioning me, I really can do KoF Rugal's Specials in a keyboard with ease (its more or less like 2 consecutive soul steal motion and then punch), anyone that have patience can become a pro in fighting games with a keyboard :P

On-topic, I think they are afraid of something like modding and online dedicated servers. Maybe they even are paid by some of these console companies to dont launch these games for PC? Conspiracy theory anyone? lol

In my case I dont have a PC compatible controller anymore, but even when I did have one I preferred to use a keyboard for some strange reason.

Also.... THIS:

Ougon Musou Kyoku - Umineko no Naku Koro ni Doujin Fighter

we need to play it someday, this game have a online multiplayer capability using IP adresses, so even without a central server it will EVER works (like every game should ever do, but some companies simply dont include this option).

Holy shit.
The King of Fighters XIII (KoF XIII) Steam Edition: trailer
Now all that's left is for ArcSys to get their ass back in the PC market.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

I can't believe I forgot to mention Tekken and SoCal. Naruto's 3D and published by Namco Bandai, right?

Oh my god!!! Anbd how they revived Mature and Vice? Since it doesnt seems to be these Dream Match titles they are really alive right?

Also, I think that Im really going to pay for this game (it will be hard to get money, but its KoF, damn) if it have a online capability.
