I'm playing and loving this game.
And I think Elizabeth totally looks, acts and sounds like a Disney princess.
She's so cute!

Anyone saw this similarity too?

You have now piqued my interest in the game.... I saw a trailer before and thought it looked pretty cool, but not at all invested in the Bioshock series... I can't really want to play it.

Now, is it the old school princesses? Like 99 ish and back or the more recent ones?

I've not played Bioshock 2, only Bioshock 1 (which I thought was GREAT).
I know Infinite can be played without knowledge of 1 and 2, but should it be?

You must play the first game in order to understand the second one. But that's not mandatory to be able to play Infinite. However, I highly recommend from my personal experience to play them both in order to get the full picture from the developer's angle, since the gameplay kept evolving and changing throughout the franchise's successive titles.

You have now piqued my interest in the game.... I saw a trailer before and thought it looked pretty cool, but not at all invested in the Bioshock series... I can't really want to play it.

I'd say it's a lot like those 90's Disney's princesses I loved as a young girl (well, to be honest, even uo to this day I find myself watching animated fare  :-[). That must be why I'm loving her.
If you like those kind of princesses, you are definitively going to love her look, voice, personality and the way she behaves  :)

I'm still upset they used Stephen Russell as only a placeholder in that game. He should have voiced the lead character like in this demo:

BioShock Infinite - Gameplay

I'd be all over it right now if just to hear more great Russell work. Even his grunts and yells are friggin' fantastic!

But nope, no Russell. He won't even be returning to play Garrett in the next Thief, which really disappoints and irritates me.

Anyway, suppose I'll pick up Infinite when it's cheap. I liked the first two a lot (though I still say Ken Levine's best work is Thief: The Dark Project and has a much better setting and narrative devices than BioShock).
Oh yeah, and also:
meat

Soda as well.
