Yes, I can see Hideo Kojima doesn't want to do Metal Gears. I suppose this will be his last one too? Like all MGS since MGS2?

The story is done, but he can still hype it. That's a neat trick. I'm kind of interested in finding out if Eli is Liquid, which seems to be the case. And if they'll really have the balls to turn Big Boss into the terrorist he is in Metal Gear. That whole choking of Chico and Miller torturing people suggests so, but I wouldn't be so sure.

That whole choking of Chico

Ugh, for the last time I keep telling everyone. Big Boss isn't choking him, he is giving him abdominal thrusts for a child's body because he is having a stroke or heart attack. In most movies you see them laying on the ground and someone is pressing the ribs beside the casualty, but for children this is the appropriate procedure, otherwise the casualty's ribs will break. Kojima Productions actually do their research, I like that!

I just wish David Hayter was Snake still. I'm sure Sutherland will do fine but it still makes me sad.

I'm pretty excited for it, but I'm a big MGS fan, so take that as you will.

I was originally optimistic with Kiefer Sutherland being cast as Big Boss. Just a little gruffness and tone down a little and it would make a decent pass and fit. When I watched the trailer and heard he was just using his normal voice, I was a little bummed out. However, this being 1984, both Snakes would be 12, and potentially David Hayter could be a background character or even a young snake (though how he could do a 12 year old's voice is beyond me).

The setup for the plot is really intriguing and I am genuinely interested in the descent of Big Boss from hero to "terrorist", not to mention the open world and dynamic environments get me super excited too. :3

Keifer Sutherland is not voicing Big Boss. He is voicing either Gray Fox or Decoy Octopus.

It's all a ruse.

Does Metal Gear ever disappoint? Every time I play a Metal Gear game I get blown away as some point and become completely addicted all over again.
The Big Boss Saga is no exception, in fact I like the games with Big Boss many times more than Solid Snake or Raiden...
It's something about it, maybe it's because Big Boss had to earn the Ranks of Badass as opposed to Snake and Raiden basically Created to be ultimate soldiers... Maybe his name is John like mine, there is something I just enjoy more from Big Boss than playing as anyone else...

Also, open world Metal Gear Online. Hail to Kojima, Baby!

Its not just that its the fact that with the Prequel Arc we're following the "Real Snake" and not the "Faux Snake" of the OT.

I can't say I disagree; but at the same time, you have to consider that Big Boss' voice would change as he aged. He sure didn't sound like his 1964 self at the end of Guns of the Patriots, so what's wrong with having his voice change now? It's not like Hayter's obligated to continue the voicework, much as we might like him to.

Assuming that the no-Hayter thing is true and not just Kojima trolling us, that is.

I'm pretty antsy to see Volgin's ghost wreak some havoc, personally.

Oh I agree with ya. I just think Dave needs to be in there somewhere. Who knows he very well could be? But unless I'm wrong this is the first MGS game he isn't in.
