That's why i see it as it is and not a 2D, because while it plays 2D game play, graphics are 3D.

That is one of the two definitions of 2.5D. Seriously, that's been established for many years:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2.5D

"Sidescroller" is a great term. :P

2D Sidescroller = Castlevania (NES)
3D 2.5D Sidescroller = MegaMan Powered Up, Maverick Hunter X, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow - Mirror of Fate

Stop maling up terms for stuff the industry already has terms for! :P

Just because the industry uses the term, doesn't mean it's good to express shit. 2.5D was always a shitty term to describe these type of games.

@Montoya

Cox: I came here to find a way out of this franchise.

CV fans: With my new abilities in fangaming, I can get you out of this...You, however, have some property of fanbase in your possession. The games of MY beloved franchise are under YOUR control. Can I forgive such a crime? NO! NEVER!

Cox: If I knew how, I'd return them all to you right here and now!

CV fans: Even if you return them, you have still committed the crime of stealing. Don't you know that? It's only right that thieves receive the punishment they deserve.

Cox: You are one selfish bastard!

CV fans: You're guilty of grand theft. Therefore, I sentence you to death!

xD

Seriously now, it cant be helped, it takes a bit of time to forgive it for what he did and how he acted. Which some people like, another ones dislike.

Why? Hitler was one guy. >.> I don't see how being "one guy" makes what he does any less damning. And before the stupid "You're comparing him to hitler, and blah blah blah." Here's the answer, yes! In terms of both of them being one person, if you want to take it to whatever else level, feel free, I'm not gonna follow though. People seem to do that too much.

If Cox had been truthful from the very start rather then leading us on till LoS' launch then we wouldn't be criticizing him nearly as much as we are now. He, and MercurySteam both brought this upon themselves and now they must pay their dues. Through us. You don't lie to your customers; ever. That's bad business sense and it breaks the trust that said company is trying to establish with the masses. Right now Cox is not continuing with Castlevania and MercurySteam's contract with Konami is up so right now walking away is the best and only thing they can do for us fans.

"Please buy my game so I can retire"  is a classic  :P

More or less, that sounds like Cox......we have made mistakes, even with LoS 2, but after LoS 2 we are going to retire from the series, so please buy our game...... :P

Just for the record: I don't quite think "2.5D" is an industry term. I've never heard it used, nor do I use it myself in any official capacity. We discuss aesthetics and gameplay differently. ie "2D gameplay" and "3D graphics".

New Castlevania game Idea?
Have Konami pick up some of the Guys from THQ, Make a New Cv game a-la Darksiders 2, sadly its too perfect to actually happen.

"ZiZ" LOL
I know that you are KaZ, good to see you again buddy, I've even asked about you days ago :P

A friend of mine also said that Darksiders II should be a model for a new CV game, but personally they would need to include much more enemies and mash more the platforming with battles. I've played it a bit and found it to have a certain lack of enemies in various parts, giving that empty corridor feel. Doesnt understand it wrong, I liked this game, but it can improve a bit doesnt it? Them it can achieve perfection easily :D

THQ is totally gone or it has been absorbed by some other company? Ateast Darksiders is safe with some group/company? Sad to know that, I've heard some rumors but it passed so many time that I didnt even remembered about that and thought it was not real.

Im fine and you? Have some news for us? Also why the name change? KaZ and ZiZ means something? I know that KaZ should be related to Kamui Zero, your older nick.

Ziz was the Ruler of the Sky, as to Behemoth was Land, and Leviathan to the Water, I thought it had a nice ring, but KaZ had a way better tune to it.
I've been lurking here and there about a week before I decided to just come back for good, sorry for the leave.

Anyways, I've been back on a Novel I've been working on since high School which was heavily influenced by Castlevania, I'll post some chapters soon
