Well, they could add a easy mode.
They will.
And a hard mode! That will be the HARDEST CV EVER!!!!  ;D

Bayou Billy was ridiculous, but only because the US version of the game was really screwed up. I actually kind of enjoyed the Japanese version.

What's the difference between the US and Jap versions? O_o I owned that game, and loved it, but I could never beat those last two guys. :P

Used to beat the crap out of Bayou Billy back in the day, it was the only game I had for awhile. I got tired of it and traded for my current copy of SMB 2 only years later to get another cart of Bayou Billy. Full circle of life there.

Bayou Billy isn't hard compared to Trojan in arcades or the slightly easier NES version, or the arcade version of Tiger Road, these 2 literally followed the Ghosts N Goblins formula with forever spawning enemies and stage timers. Ironically both were also made by Capcom and shared the same game engine as GnG. That engine shall get a nickname from me, Satan's Hellspawn Hardware. Ironically enough I managed to beat both of them, but credit feeding was the only way, and Trojan has a more vicious second loop, Tiger Road thankfully is just 1 hellish loop.

The arcade version of Trojan... I had to use A LOT of credits to beat it (in MAME). There's a particular part where you have to fight 2 moustached guys with robots arms at the same time. That's so, so hard!
And the final boss in the end was just waiting to have luck and beat him.

Yeah those 2 guys with the arms, second underground base stage I believe, both very annoying because they sandwich you in between if you don't manage to get over them and corner them instead. The last boss, Achillies is indeed a pain but strategy is the only way to take him down, button mashing doesn't seem to work against him like it can a couple other bosses.

I don't bother with it in MAME these days, it's in a Capcom Classics Collection, so is Tiger Road. Ghosts N Goblins/Makaimura is in it too, but it runs faster than it should, so PS1 or Saturn for that conversion.

I could only beat the set 2 of Ghosts and Goblins, the giant devils are very difficult in set 1.

I prefer the Japanese version, instead of a dumb shield to throw at enemies, you get a nice looking crucifix.

It's a nice touch. But I believe the japanese version is ever harder than Set 1, since the giant devils are fast but in the final stage everything's changed and there are more enemies.

Very good game, but gets way complicated for a game from  1984. The way to get some items necessary to finish the game is absolutely insane, and it is something I've not dared to do.

Got on Namco Museum 1, I should get it on FC and Gameboy too.

Tower of Druaga doesnt come in Namco Museum Vol. 1 for PSX, are you talking about a Namco Museum for another console or did you mistake it by another one? I know it because thats the only Namco Museum that I have (Toy Pop is so cool :) )

I don't really know if they're that hard, but I've never beaten a main-series Mega Man game. I always give up on Wily's Castle. Or before, in the case of Mega Man 1. I could never master the shifting blocks.

My mistake, it's on Volume 3 on PSX, which is right in front of my face as I type this.

Shifting blocks ever follows a pattern, you only need to memorize, predict and synchronize with them :)

Cool, since we're talking about this, you can tell me how many volumes they have released and how much it costs today?
