Shifting blocks ever follows a pattern, you only need to memorize, predict and synchronize with them :)

I know they follow a pattern. Unfortunately, so do I: I fall off a block, have to start from the last checkpoint (+1 to anger), do it again, (+1 to anger), again (+1) again (+1) again and then I throw the controller at the screen and ragequit.
He's back! The man behind the mask!

LOL I feel your pain, I rage at some games, but never quits.

TThe trick is to do all these things before trying to jump, you can train in Iceman's stage since if you fail you still survives.

I beat Castlevania III tonight for the millionth-or-so time, and streamed it so a dungeon member here could see.
Unfortunately, due to the framerate issues of my capture setup, the game was needlessly harder (the mermen's shadows on the water in stage 6-0B and 9-04 had to get lucky-struck because they were completely invisible while capturing, so I had to save-state and go fully on hope alone).

Beat the game saving Grant but finishing with Sypha.

You streamed it in Twitch.tv? You should have telled us so we could watch too :)

That's my preferred choice of partners. Grant is a lot of fun to play with, but Sypha's Fire Spell can rip through Dracula's first form in no time, then Trevor can finish off the other two with the Axe.

I'm sure there are harder games out there, but Zelda II remains the most difficult game that I've ever played. The Great Palace is both the easiest and most difficult dungeon in the series, and certainly the largest. Easiest in that if you know the route, you can just go straight to the boss, but hardest in that the dungeon is HUGE if you ever get lost, along with those damn bird knights. . .

Wait until you get to the 3rd stage. I could never beat that one without using save states, though I could get through Level 3 after many tries starting from it.
And not to mention the final boss (and the jump preceding it)...
Now I'm tired, eternally walking... forever dying, and never stopping. I feel in sorrow, all I see is white. I’m following a blind way beneath a sad sky.
