So, which games do you personally consider to be worth of 10/10 if you gave it an appreciation with a score?

My personal list (not counting CV games):

* Okami
* Chrono Trigger
* Final Fantasy VI
* Bioshock Infinite
* Radiata Stories

I don't think I'm forgetting anything.

Edit: I forgot about Radiata Stories. Now I added it.

Seiken Densetsu 3 - Best SNES RPG I have ever played.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - after beating it 20+ times, it deserves this spot
Doom 1+2 - When I think FPS, I think Doom first
Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - One of the single most enjoying experiences with video games ever, and yes, I cried like a bitch at the end.

Quake - Still the finest competitive Deathmatch ever devised.
Thief: The Dark Project- It just fully immerses you in sneaking and pilfering.
Tomb Raider 2- the pinnacle of the original series, with one cool level to explore after another.
Fallout: New Vegas- Sort of what I had hoped Fallout 3 had been.
Resident Evil- Code Veronica X- It's easy to forget it's the series' first 128-bit title. The plot is silly, and I like it that way.
SCV IV- Still the most perfect and accessible classic Castlevania. Even if CV Bloodlines is my subjective favorite.
Vampire: The Masquerade-Bloodlines -It's still buggy as hell, but there's so much content, so many options of how to play, and so much to do that I can't stop going back to it.

He's back! The man behind the mask!

These are some that come close to a 10 in my list:

* Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2
* Valkyrie Profile 2
* Bioshock 1 and 2
* Riviera: The Promised Land
* Nier Gestalt
* Valkyria Chronicles
* Star Ocean 4
* Eternal Sonata
* Gargoyle's Quest
* Demon's Crest
* Twilight Princess
* Metroid: Other M
* Alundra

They are 9 or 9,5 to me.
Now I am sure I am forgetting a lot of games with almost 10.

I have a lot of games I'd rate a 9, or 8, or 9.5 but few I think I'd give the full 10.

Symphony of the Night - while not my personal favorite in the series I think it's probably one of the very best games ever made.
Final Fantasy VI - Everything that could go right in a turn based jRPG did.
Serious Sam Gold (aka Serious Sam: The First and Second Encounter) - The height of old school game FPS design. Very challenging.
Doom 2 - You don't get much more classic than this.

I'm tempted to put in Sly 2 Band of Thieves, but it's been several years and I'd need to replay it to be sure. Castlevania 3 would be a no brainer except I'm a little iffy about some of the re-balancing that was done for the western release. As would VtM: Bloodlines if it weren't for all of the glitches/engine issues.

Gonna be a bunch of repeats, but that's a given.

Final Fantasy VI - because character development. Seriously. How many RPG villains actually manage to destroy/take over the world, let alone be really solid characters who can be downright sympathetic at times? Love ya, Kefka.
Chrono Trigger - because beating up Gato, and the reasons it's so fucking loved.
Metal Gear Solid 3 - I could argue in this masterpiece's defense for hours, but the tl;dr is that it's feelsy as shit. MGS4 doesn't even top it in my book, and MGS4 is fucking depressing. The Boss is easily one of the most(if not THE most) well-developed, empathetic, and sympathy-inducing characters in the series, and holds a shining place in my top gaming characters list. I fucking love this game.
Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver - This entire series (except for Blood Omen 2, ugh) is gold, AFAIC, but Soul Reaver takes the cake for installing such a deep and symbolic level of conflict and morality to an already wonderfully-developed plot. I'd put the original Blood Omen in this list, as I do feel it's a solid ten, but I'll lump it here as being the trigger for this awesome series, as well as having a plot that was ahead of its time as far as symbolism and meaning are concerned.
Romancing SaGa III - The SaGa games are hidden gems of the SNES RPG era IMO, but III is my favorite just because of how open it is. You've got so many different characters to play through and so many different choices to make, not to mention the scope and enormity of the ending (
(click to show/hide)
)
Mega Man X - This puppy was pretty damn perfect back in 1993, and it still can hold its own. Nothing like having near-flawlessness to boot a new timeline continuity. Oh, how Capcom has fallen.
Mega Man Zero 4 - In particular, because it really analyzes the "hero mentality" from the POV of the actual "hero" in addition to the generic bad-guy talk ("You thought you could save everyone? But wouldn't killing me make you just like me? Muahahahah, moral conundrum! Take that!"). And because gameplay's pretty damn solid.
Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - I don't think I really need to elaborate much. Epitomizing platforming on such large scales speaks for itself.
Devil May Cry 3 - Yeah, yeah, I know, it's a little overrated. But it really solidified the (original timeline) series' style, picking up the slack that scraps of DMC1 (and pretty much all of DMC2) left behind. The story's pretty nice, too, and the soundtrack is to fucking die for. Vergil Battle 3, I can't even.
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake - This treasure set the tone and standard for the series' future, all years ahead of its time: "It doesn't matter who wins here. Our fight will continue. The loser will be liberated from the battlefield, and the survivor will live out the rest of his days as a soldier." Seriously. If that quote doesn't say it all, I don't know what does.

Eh, I'm tired. I'm done explaining, lol. I'm gonna list from here out.
Mega Man Zero 3
Demon's Crest
Starfox
Halo 4
Silent Hills 1, 2, and 3
Super Metroid
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Final Fantasy VII (I can defend the ever-loving SHIT out of this, but it would be a text mountain)
Quake
Legend of Dragoon (which happens to be my favorite game of all time, so biased choice is biased)
Doom & Doom 2
God of War as a whole
Medievil

I'll post more when I can think of them

See, that's where I'm on the fence. While I love me some Blood Omen, I absolutely LOVE the paradigm conflict that Soul Reaver introduces. You still have the same general type of conflict as in Blood Omen (chaotic good vs lawful evil, etc.), it becomes twofold with the introduction of Raziel and the other elements of Hebrew mythology which do nothing but enforce the characters. And it's always nice to have a character with "self-righteous indignation" as a motivator for revenge and unknowingly toss a moral veil over it.

And anything that continued Tony Jay talking is a good thing in my book.

I have a lot of titles to think about, but for now I'll just say Mortal Kombat (WB Reboot). Not only did that game bring the MK series back on its feet, but also straight into the competitive fighting game scene. And the plot was practically a deconstruction of fix fics, which is a bonus to me.
It is precisely because it never cared, that people do care.  It's something which it's lacking, because that which it has, it has lackluster of.
^^
You are now reading this in Robert Belgrade's voice.

Then Lords of Shadow 2 just takes a big, semi-solid, smelly, pea-green dump all over everything.

Castlevania: Circle of the Moon
The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match
SaGa Frontier

Those would have to be my top three video games (and series) of all time (in no particular order).
