Actually, the difference between 1080p and 720p are Pretty Steep, this goes for Jaggies and Draw Distance, and much more...
The Xbone's inability to do this is solely by choice to promote shitty gimmicks like Watching TV on Xbox and Browsing WHILE gaming, the browsing is actually okay, but the TV part is just stupid, anyone who can afford an Xbone already has a HDTV with PIP.
The PS4 on the other hand, the 30fps issue is present, but this goes much more for developers, as we seen with CoD: Ghosts, the PS4 can play the game at 60fps (with dips, but getting an update to fix that), It uses all of its new power mainly for games, which is it's purpose as a console.
The Wii-U is much like the Wii, 3rd Parties just can't seem to make good games on it but there will be those Gems that make the console buy-able.
....and then there is PC, which completely shits on the new "Bit Wars", getting 1080p out of a Duo Core AND 4 Gigs or 667 DDR2 Ram, and a Semi-Mid tier Video card.
IF PC can do this at high settings (minus AA) JUST like consoles, then Why the FUCK is 1080p and 60fps so Hard to do with Quad Cores and 8GB of DDr3+ Ram?
