Toukiden: The Age of Demons is another really interesting game coming to the Vita this February.

I'm wondering if anyone here has played the old version? I'm big fan of Tecmo games, and this looks really promising!

It's been out on psp in japan. I tried it out last night and it was pretty cool. I could tell it wasn't vita quite vita quality, but other than that it was good!

Is the old version on the Nes by the way?

I don't think there was an NES version of this game. I think it's a new game. It's very cool that it is cross play between Vita owners and PSP owners though. The point of the game is to group up with other players to take on the oni. It's got a cool player editor in it as well.

Mifune is one of the greats! I own many of his films. But my favorite will always be his role as Kikuchiyo in Seven Samurai. He's one of those actors who just oozes with charisma.

Toukiden and Toukiden: The Age of Demons are the exact same game. The Age of Demons subtitle was added to the overseas localizations. There is no older version of the game, it's an new IP from Omega Force (the Koei team in charge of Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors).

I'm excited for the game, though. I loved the PSP demo.

Cool! It's cross platform with psp and vita. We should play together. The demo was pretty cool.
