I took a look at it. Looks like a list of release dates with a small description of the title and how each contributed to the collective. Not a bad read just for something to do.

I finally got around to reading through this (been busy with my masters class) and really enjoyed it.  Especially the article's closing:

Perhaps it’ll break new ground once again. Castlevania has the enviable habit of reinventing itself just when it’s falling behind, and its grim complexities are never without fans. The form Castlevania takes may be uncertain, but it will survive just as reliably as Dracula does.
