You are the best, theplottwist :D. Have you ever ask for a job at Konami, in the next CV game, in the "enemy description" department?

"Juste's long time friend, recently possessed by Dracula himself."

That'ssss... Not true...
Maxim was possessed by the manifestation of Dracula's remains, Dracula Wraith, who is not Dracula himself. He's more like Dracula's corruption given embodiment.

Eh...not quite. The Dracula Wraith came about because of Maxim himself. Maxim's negative side and inner-most desires, coupled with the power of Dracula's remains gave rise to a separate entity. This entity at the end of the game eventually possess' Dracula's remains and brings about the Dracula Wraith. While it looks and fights like Dracula, it is not the true Count himself. If this is what you meant then oops on my part, lol.

A magical sword that controls other weapons. But is it happy?

A powerful magic sword commanding other weapons. Has no rules.

Apparently, Juste isn't the only one who can level up in this game.

A living armor that can use a huge disc to slice its enemies. Dreams of becoming a DJ.

An armor inhabited by the spirit of a great warrior, Soshiro Yamane.

A merman that mutated inside the castle's sewers. Distant cousin of Ariel.

An animated body of rocks. At least, you don't have to climb it and stab its weak points.

A living skeleton who masters the art of battle. Plays too much Eternal Champions.

I always thought that the Count just possessed Maxim but I didn't realize there were two Maxims (the good Maxim and a "copy" that shows his negativity towards Juste).

Meh.

"A skeleton animated by a poisonous substance."

"A plant that feeds on the blood of corpses."

"An elite skeleton warrior. Guards certain areas of Castlevania."
"Die monster! You don't belong in this world!"

I'm surprised that no-one thought to do this;
