It's pointless. I know. And yet. Maybe I'm just stupidly hopeful like that.
I really feel we got cheated on Victor in LOS2.
The game IMPLIES and TELLS YOU all these awesome things he did (like painstakingly gathering Gabe's old gear from the ruins of the Castle) which would have made prime DLC material, and we never got it. He's in the game a grand total of 15-20 minutes depending on how leet your skills are at beating his boss fight, and that ending was just freaking contrived from nowhere.
A DLC would have given him a starring role, even playing on his Resurrection version with him starting off somewhat unwilling to take the lead in the defense of the city, but quickly realizing that there is no one else to do it-- he is the best and only man for the job. So off he goes into the bowels of the city, into the ruins of the Castle, to gather the equipment that helped Gabriel 1,000 years prior. Just a couple hours of gameplay and some minimalist story sequences here and there to make up for the 15 minutes of waste.
Throw in some MoF Simon and Trevor Belmont skins, and maybe a classic Belmont design like Leon or DXC Richter thrown in for good measure.
For 8-10 bucks, I'd have bought that.
Not begrudging the DLC we did get (combining Armored and Dark Dracula for one sweet look on my current playthrough, and OMG ALUCARD IS BACK), but there just feels like... there's a hole there. And it bugs the crap out of me. Probably the one time I will say they didn't put out quite ENOUGH DLC. (May the gods strike me down for saying such blasphemies)
