Top 10 Castlevania Games

Well besides no.1 being a flaming pile of obviousness(or being banal whatever your pick is) -_-  there is at least one entry that's interesting. well what are your thoughts?

The only thing I'm disappointing in is that all these list put symphony at no.1 why? It's just....  very trite.

Heck if I could make a quality video of top 10 cv titles it would be very different from the rest of the crowd. but seeing

#1 was sooooo obvious. Hell, I would be surprised if it wasn't #1. As easy as it is, it was the first metroidvania and it is the only game that actually stars Alucard. I would commit five atrocities in order to get another game staring him. I exaggerate, but you get how I feel. I'm pretty sure a lot of us on this forum have similar feelings.

Getting back to the list, I surprised that OoE wasn't higher.

I was giving them credit for the research in mentioning Vampire Killer on the MSX, but then they're "not sure if SCV4 is a remake or a sequel" wat? It's too bad google doesn't exist so they could figure that one out in under 5 minutes.

All in all I have to say... it's inoffensive, but a very bland list. It's basically the safest list you could make, it ticks all the boxes. "Reboot game on the list for its fans? Check" "Original game on the list for its fans? Check" "Bloodlines and SCV4 for Genesis and SNES fanboys respectively? Check" "SOTN at #1? Check" I did appreciate it not making misinformed pot-shots at the N64 and PS2 games like a lot of these lists do, seemingly just to fill time with easy "jokes".
