I would like this because I've not played Curse of Darkness yet. I've played most of LoI but still haven't beat it on PS3. Would I like it?

Speaking of LoI, I found this and I think it's my favorite Castlevania piece now. It's absolutely phenomenal. Shame it wasn't in game.

Yeah, that's a really awesome version of the song. I like that sometimes the soundtracks in the franchise have bonus songs thrown in when the OST gets released.

are they still releasing new PS2 classics on the PS3, or is everything new gonna go on PS Now pretty soon?  hope we don't have to wait a long time before CoD comes out there because they're busy slowly putting SotN, Chronicles, and LoI up there first.

i'd also buy a PS4 in an instant if they upgraded it to play ps2 disks.

I agree completey they should bring it to the psn network like LoI so you can dl for ps3 or ps4. If anything it annoys the hell out of me the capability of the vita..and yet they never seem to release any ps2 or ps3 ports for it other than a select handful of ps3 games..usualy not identical either.. No mirror of fate, no LoI, and more than likely no Cod. I'm hoping sony allows for ps2 dowloads at some piont..so i can atleast play LoI and yeah hopefully eventually CoD. I might have been more impressed had they more vania games for the vita. I got chronciles psx and drac x chronicles...they both are very good. But they need more for vita..simply put..for all great games.

PS2 games on PSN don't work on PS4. Only on PS3.

PSN is not a software platform. It is only the method in which the game is delivered to you.

I didn't mind CoD, it was actually a pretty beautiful game to look at and listen to for the most part. But the levels were just too fucking big. I think if they'd have cut the size of the levels in half, it would bring the game up a bit. I finished it once and I actually started the game another several times, but I could never get through it due to losing interest. There was a lot of wasted potential in that game.

Oh i didnt  psn was only exclusive to ps3.. that sorta sucks if you have ps4 then.. i wonder how that works. I have a ps3 and vita..thankfully. Cause they got tricky with vita..now you can't get the ps one games through dl anymore on the vita store.you have to buy them through the ps3 and upload them into the vita...what a marketing ploy! Still it would be nice to know more about the ps4 store as compared with the ps3 store. Similarly their were games on psp that dont show up on psvita that show up on ps3 store taht you can dl into the vita.. That is hit or miss.. MY friend just got a ps4 i should investigate it's store further..

@ doctor mario...i would have to disagree. I think the size of the maps are fine..with a couple iffies in the game.. I think they should have made differnt enemies more unique and not just clones of easier/harder enemies.. It felt a bit regurgated. And some areas within the maps felt very generically the same..like too similar..Escecially in enaomous clocktower.. and drac's castle. I think they shoulda made the rooms alot more unique  and not so the same. I remember alot of LOI haveing very distintive areas. Though i'll agree with alot of people the fact that trevor kicks ass to use is a hugh reason for replay value. Just wish you could access the lazer whip which they dont allow..

Again, PSN (Playstation Network) is NOT a games platform. It is only the method of which you connect Playstation devices to Sony's merchandise service. You buy games and DLC on it. It does not play the game. It has nothing to do with what games run on what Playstation systems. You cannot buy a PS3 game and play it on your Vita much the same way you cannot buy a PS3 game and play it on your PS4. If the system doesn't support it, you can't play it whether or not you purchased and downloaded it using PSN.

It is the same as Steam, where you can buy a PC game but just because you have Steam on your Apple computer doesn't mean you can magically play PC games with it. It's just an online store for games.

Either way i just think that through psn network they should allow for all consoles that COULD contain the game on that system.. Like for ps3,ps4 or psvita..instead of having to buy them individually on each system.. dl service or no dl service.

You CAN buy Vita games through the PS3 and PS4.. But not vice versa. And you can't buy PS4 games through the PS3. Vita games can be bought since they can be stored on your system and then transferred over to the Vita. The Vita does not have access to the PS3 and PS4 games since the system itself can't play them, and definitely can't hope to hold most of those games efficiently (especially not PS4 games). Same goes for why PS3 can't buy/download PS4 games, and hell, one PS4 game is bigger than what the PS3's Blu-Ray disc can even hold (Blu-Ray disc is 50GB, Killzone: Shadow Fall for PS4 is approximately a whopping 60GB).

That's... my theory, anyway. But it makes a lot of sense when put like that. I'm pretty sure you can buy for every platform through the PSN website, but I've never done that so I don't know.

Besides, why would you be buying PS4 games without a PS4? And if you have one... why would you be buying them with one of the other systems, and not through your PS4? etc. etc. On top of all that, if every game for every system was available on every version of the PSN, the PSN itself would later on be pretty damn cluttered.

Also, while I would like the ability to play PS2 games on my Vita, that would require them to do more patches and stuff to make the games compatible with the Vita (due to the Vita lacking L2, L3, R2, R3, pressure-sensitive buttons, rumble might be an issue, or even the game itself might be an issue due to being a PS2 game).

tl;dr... The PSN works the way it is. Just a bit of a hassle to navigate on PS3.

Yeah they had to go and change the UI when there was nothing wrong with the original. It was more user-friendly to navigate then their new setup.

Yeah, the UI is just weird, and it takes a REALLY long time to load. I miss the old one. The Vita's UI for the PSN, though, is really nice and easy to navigate.
