Canon doesn't mean anything now that IGA has left the building, and the original timeline's been abandoned.

I am by no means an expert on the timeline and don't profess to know 100% how the timeline of the games should be =)  I did my best to research what I could and put them in order that appeared correct. Feel free to let me know if I have anything out of order!

Two statements that you're yet to back up, I must add.
The IGA canon is pretty well established, with IGA or not. Castlevania is not IGA's, it's Konami's. And since we're speaking about rxmarcus' streaming, and since he mentioned "chronology" by which I think "IGA" or "Main Chronology" is implied, he might aswell explain that Legends and Castlevania 64 are not canon to this "main chronology". He could also be not respecting any canonicity at all (which is perfectly okay, don't rustle your jimmies, people), but this doesn't detract from the fact that there is a "main timeline".

Lords of Shadow started and ended. Self-contained reboot. Its existence doesn't mean the original timeline's erasure or abandonment.

Nah man, it's alright. I saw that you're also playing the loads of remakes from the original Castlevania, so it kinda make sense to have all non-canon games there too. The thing is that when someone mentions "Chronology" over these waters, the canonicity of the games is automatically implied. When "chronology" and "Legends" appear together, the canonicity starts to be disputed, because the word "chronology" is connected to "timeline", something that Castlevania has a main one, and a separate, non canon one.

I should take a time to watch this, also know that Legends, 64/Legacy of Darkness, Order of Shadows, Lords of Shadow, Circle of the Moon and Kid Dracula shouldn't be considered canon.

IGA last timeline added 64 titles as canon, but doesnt explained how it would fit, so its a "mid-canon" lol?

Nope. Last time I checked, 64 titles are not on the timeline. This is the most recent timeline:

It's all in japanese, but just look at the console acronyms and you'll never see "64" there. In all fairness, I don't see Order of Ecclesia there, either (since it was last messed with before OoE came out). But I never found any source saying that any of the 64 games are there.

well OoE was never given an exact year anyway, only that it takes place "sometime during the 19th century"

If the guy wants to play games that aren't in the official timeline, let him.  This is the kind of reception that drives people away from forums.  Obviously the TC is new to this forum, and he's enthusiastic about the series.  There's no need to jump on his back if he's playing through the games in a different way than you might.

Hey PFG, long time no see. Im not talking what he should or not play, I was only giving hints about the timeline so he knows what is canon, since when I've arrived in this thread people were talking about that
