This could be first shooter worth getting all the map packs, the later DLC could
add key battles from the upcoming Episode VII.  Also I read that preorder DLC map
adds a battle map that takes place between Episode VI and Episode VII.

Looking great but they have to make sure to support bots and multiplayer offline too, and it would be great
having lots of models for the rebel faction to play as, instead of presets based on class, which they probably have too,
but they could add more skin selection, among other things.

Also 40 players is fine, the original only had support for 16 or 18 players. 
I don't think they could do these graphics with 64 players.

Not sure if single player will have instant action and galactic conquest modes, but it's nice they confirmed
1st person with 3rd person view switching, as well as splitscreen.

looks sweet! Yeah, there are only so many times one plays 'capture the flag' in battlefronts before it becomes repetitive, so a single player game would definitely be a step-up for this one.

Wow this looks impressive! Could this be the title that finally gets me back into the FPS genre.. after nearly a six year hiatus?

I'd love to see them redo the entire Dark Forces series and Shadows of the Empire with these types of graphics!
