Hello everyone! I am the developer of Space: Pew Pew, a game that is currently in it's early stages being developed by 2Squared Games. I am currently looking for talented Pixel artists, Unity cross-platform programmers, Musicians, and Designers. However, there is one problem: I have no money. That is why I am currently holding this contest, to get a boss for free (hehe).

Your task is to design either A. A land boss, or B. A soace boss. The winning entry will be in the game as a beatable boss.
To get a taste of the game's art style, I have this:
(click to show/hide)

Requirements:
1. Must be in the game's art style.
2. Must use the Megadrive/Genesis color palette (available here )
3. Must be in pixel art form.
4. Must have a Gameboy Styled counter-part.
5. Must be a type of machine, preferably piloted.
6. Must be completed before June 20th.
7. Do it. Now.
UPON THE COMPLETION OF ITS STATEMENT, THE BLOOD MONKEY LEAPS TOWARDS YOU, BARING TEETH. IT IS TOO LATE FOR YOU.

You said you were also looking for programmers/designers ? Any specifics as to what you are looking for?

Well, as of right now, I am learning C++. But, it will take me about a year of learning at most to get a basic movement/collision detection for both platforming and the smup part. I plan on using Unity2D as an IDE. So I would be looking for someone who can program in C++, I guess.

If you are determined to use unity then I recommend you try and learn C# instead (or Javascript OR both) since those run native with unity. Movement and Collision are pretty trivial in Unity because of the way it is built. If you have any questions feel free to PM me or something. I'd be glad to help.
