Here's the game that popped up in the news a while ago after failing to reach its funding goal because of a huge donation that was pulled back at the last moment. It launched another KS campaign with that added notoriety and got funded the second time around.

It's a classic scrolling shooter, but with a really unique twist: you fight in two levels at the same time, and can teleport between them at will. It's a concept that I don't think has ever been done before, and it should allow for some really interesting level design. If you're a fan of the genre, this is definitely something worth checking out.

To my knowledge such a game has not been done before so this is a first. It does look interesting as far as space shoot'em-ups go.
