Anybody else planning on picking this game up? I have mixed feelings, mostly about game length for each playthrough. The game does look fantastic graphically speaking.

Didn't really think too much of it until I saw some footage at GameStop a couple weeks back. Looks scary enough. I might pick it up because me and my girlfriend have been playing horror games a lot lately, and she's really interested in it.

Longevity is a worry for me, though. Modern horror games have tended to be on the short side. So I'm probably gonna wait for a price drop, first.

EDIT: ...I mean, the game is a horror game right?

EDIT 2: Apparently the game is going to have a 9-hour playthrough with 30 endings, according to the video... That actually sounds quite intriguing.

First impression was that it is a video game equivalent of a choose-your-own-adventure book.
Meh... they kept saying how much it feels like you are playing a movie rather than a game and that is one of the trends in modern AAA gaming i really hate.
If I want to feel like I'm experiencing a movie I'll go watch one.

I'm on the fence, but I'm all for a moody, atmospheric horror game that has high replayability. Now, how deep the differences are remains to be seen. I'll be rather upset if it's only superficial differences. But with being able to decide who lives and dies in a sense, it should be pretty deep, hopefully.

If only it maintained a solid frame rate, it'd be all the more real.
